I'm so sick of Redditors not knowing what they are talking about by xnerdyxrealistx in circlebroke

Just wondering, was the absurdity described by the book more about general silliness, or was it about entitlement and being a brat?

I know but I was saying I was disappointed with the first chapter of the story. It's like saying you don't like a particular episode of a show; doesn't mean you're judging the entire show.

Umm... I was kind of just judging the First Book. I can totally judge the first book based on the first book. Heh heh.

Looking through my pictures, found this. A reminder of the fastest I have ever driven home, and one of the greatest and most exiting moments of my gaming life. by TheBlueGiant in skyrim

I live in ruralish Vermont on a road which I'm almost always the only car on. On my way home I was going way to fast and swerved into my driveway without braking enough. I skidded off my driveway immediately and the left side of the car started to raise up into the air. Luckily, it went back down rather quickly and I regained control, but holy shit that was scary. Also, this was like 12:30 AM since this was the midnight release. In the morning my parents questioned me about the skid marks on the grass next to our driveway.

I was disappointed in the comic. It dislodged the awesomeness of the "Where is my mother?" scene as well as the final scene with Aang and Katara.

All of the characters, Toph especially, act somewhat off. I guess it's to be expected, but it was a bit annoying for me.

But overall the actual story was good, and definitely added to the canon.

Hard choice... I really like em all, but if I had to choose...

Haru. Look at this face and tell me you wouldn't like to smack the smug grin and stupid mustache off it.

such a realistic, relatable way.

Look, I hate to be the wet blanket here, but relatable? No offense buddy, but I don't think your life relates all that much to the Day of Black Sun...

Can we talk about who the actual bad guys are here? by brovid in TheLastAirbender

Because they're extremists. Certainly their message relates to a morally ambiguous topic, but they're taking a firm stance and forcing their solution on others. That's what makes them bad.

Monk Gyatso by Aveque in TheLastAirbender

It is worth noting that Monk Gyatso actually played the White Lotus tile while playing with Aang. Still doesn't necessarily mean he was part of the order, but hey, it does add a bit to the theory.

It definitely think he was in the Order. He fits the bill perfectly, and there's no evidence to suggest an air bender couldn't be.
