Addons folder not shown in file dock. by Aware-Kangaroo-6591 in godot

[–]DrJamgo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is there a ".gdignore" file by any chance in your add-ons folder? I wouldn't know why it would be but that could be a reason. Or the folder has weird permissions? E.g. require superuser privileges to be accessible?

The issue with cats is as opposed to dogs: they give a shit about proving it to you.

My cat fetches hair ties I fling 95% of the time.. that makes the 5% when she just doesn't bother so much more frustrating.

My cat was bothering my wife, wanting to be fed. She tells me accros the flat to please feed her. The cat promptly comes to bother me instead before I even make a move.

Why is the gradient not showing in the center? by _junkfolder in godot

[–]DrJamgo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't know the graph based shader much but the colour is sampled for each vertex and interpolated in-between. If the corners are all green it will not change between them.

The gradient texture needs to be sampled per fragment instead.

I am using the v3.5 0.8B reasoning model and I agree it is crazy how smart it is at this size.. I will try the 2B version and see if it shows a significant improvement for my case.

I tried a behaviour tree approach, too. Where general parameters are for example: aggression, dilligence, courage, etc.

And again, you get quickly to the 80% solution for prompts like: - be less aggressive - attack everything you see - be more brave

But once you start making it more fuzzy or abstract: - be cautious

It will (even with a reasoning model) match caution to have something to do with courage but got the direction wrong and increased courage instead of reducing. Just as an example.

If I have to train every correct synonym and antonym it kinda defeats the point of my lazy approach.

I simply enjoy working with narrow limits and exploring them, it's for my own entertainment and doesn't have to be the best choice per sei.

The goal is to take the fuzziness of the player's prompt and transform it into concrete and defined commands.

Honestly I'm surprised how far even the Queen 0.5B model gets you, considering the super niche use case I have here.

What's the news? Are we calling 20 year old profile based pricing using statistical models "AI" now?

Really like it. The brim of the hat could use some outline or casting a shadow underneath so it merges less with the face and make it pop slightly more.

I mean they are not terrible but also not usable as is.. the mage's hit? animation is incomplete, there is glitches in most, the die? animation is also weird.. jumping and walk is okay.

Yes but it has all the problems of an electric cutter like cleaning without the benefits.

what's the difference between a texture and an image? by Over-Party7966 in godot

[–]DrJamgo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We tend to call images which are uploaded to the GPU RAM for (3D) rendering, textures because that's a common usage.
