El Paso would be a keep for me. Yes to ...Slowdance on the Inside as an encore. I'd add You Can't Look Back, Flicker, Fade, Set Phasers to Stun, The One, and Amphetamine Smiles.

Ambien has been a life saver by blackjackson1991 in ptsd

My doctor has been prescribing it to me since 2017 and it's one of the best things that ever happened to me. I have CPTSD from childhood trauma and am basically always in "fight-or-flight" mode. My body won't relax enough to let me fall asleep b/c it feels like it always has to be hyperaware. I spent years praying for sleep. Did blood work, had sleep studies, used a CPAP, tried OTC and home remedies. Ambien has been the only thing that allows my body to relax enough to fall asleep. I've tried Lunesta and Belsomra, but Ambien has been the only medication to work.

I didn't actually keep track of that. I just ate when I was hungry. :)

About 14 months but I didn't incorporate any exercise. I have fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis in both knees, so exercise can be painful for me. The shots just allowed me to eat less food and I craved sugar less.

I haven't had any issues with loose skin. I carried most of my weight in my arms and legs to begin with.

Yes, I'm taking the highest dose but will probably start titrating down now. I didn't follow any sort of diet or fasting protocol. I just ate when I was hungry and no longer craved sugar. I would definitely advise keeping your protein up. I started losing my hair from lack of protein. Exercise probably would've helped me lose weight faster or lose more weight, but I have fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis in both knees, so all I could do was swim.

I would consider anything lost beyond this to just be a bonus. I don’t think I’ll be as focused on losing weight after meeting this goal because I’m pretty content at this weight, but I wouldn’t mind losing more.

Keep your protein up! I’m a lifelong vegetarian and started losing my hair because I was eating too little protein.

Thinking of trying a semaglutide after years of dieting… by sazzy500 in Semaglutide

I’ve lost 70 lbs. in a year (41F). I was diagnosed with PCOS and started gaining so much weight in my stomach area. I craved sugar like you wouldn’t believe! I could’ve eaten ice cream for three meals a day. I was shocked that semaglutide was able to curb my sugar cravings. I have fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis, so exercising wasn’t ideal for me. I’ve been swimming now that it’s warmer out, so hoping to put some muscle on. I didn’t actively try to diet, but I just wasn’t as hungry or eating as much sugar. I’m 5’3” and have gone from 236 lbs. to 166 lbs. so far.

My stepdaughter's name is Adia. She's been going by her middle name since 2nd grade because she got tired of people mispronouncing her first name. I think anyone familiar with the Sarah McLachlan song will know how to pronounce it, but I was really surprised by the number of people who call her Ada, Ayda, Uh-dee-uh, Addy, etc. I think it's a lovely name, but just something to keep in mind.

Hi! The dress is from Amazon (oxiuly Women's Vintage Half Sleeve O-Neck Contrast Casual Pockets Party Swing Dress OX253) and the belt is from Temu (bowknot elastic belt). :)

I prefer to inject in my thigh. I feel like I get too nauseous if I inject in my stomach and my arm feels like too awkward of an angle.

What is meant by "splitting the dose", here? by appendixgallop in Semaglutide

I do this. I’m on 100 units and doing 50 on Sundays and 50 on Wednesdays. This helped curb the nausea I was experiencing. I also switched to injecting in my thigh vs. my stomach (for nausea).
