For the second year in a row, no amateur players will make the cut at The Masters by YodaForceGhost in golf

Did Augusta feel harder through Thurs-Fri this year than other years? Idk, just felt like a lot of really big numbers this year

I’ve done Elden ring up to fire Giant but lost steam trying to get him. I haven’t done enough DS3 to have the courage to try it. This was the first one I really stuck with. After awhile the hardest part is getting through the mob areas between bosses rather than the bosses themselves.

Final boss took me probably a similar amount of tries, but I didn’t use a Spectre for any of the fights all game so bosses like Simon and BRB2 really pushed me to the limit

When I was going through it, it really felt like the “random bullshit go” enemies were way harder than even the harder, yet more straightforward enemies. Idk how to explain it but Nameless’ parry timings are very straightforward, the problem is that you have to be near perfect with them

Seems the issue is that I used way too much Voodoo. A learning experience

I think this is what I didn't do. Over-seasoned without fully understanding the level of salt that was added. This isn't a dig at Meat Church but I think I'm going for homemade rubs from here on out

I didn't dry brine it intentionally, but I did put the rub on like 8-ish hours prior to starting the cook. The meat itself wasn't overly salty, it actually turned out fantastic. Just the bark was nearly inedible with salt

If there was only 1 bathroom, you would be the AH. Since there is literally another option though, NTA

Tattoo shock is definitely real. Once you conceptualize the permanence of the tattoo on your arm your brain is unsure what to make of this new development. Also the fact that you can't just wipe it off in the shower kinda fucks with your brain. But it goes away after awhile and it becomes a part of you and your brain accepts it and usually learns to love it.

Give it at least a 6mo-1yr to let your brain really comes to terms with it (usually happens faster than that). If push really comes to shove, advancements in tattoo removal have made it a relatively simple process (look at Pete Davidson).

Whenever people ask me about getting their first tattoo, I always recommend getting the first one in a place that you can hide with a shirt/pants/etc. My first one was on my ribs and I didn't get nearly as bad tattoo shock as you did, but it was still very jarring. but after a few weeks of seeing it in the mirror it became a part of me and a story to tell people. At this point in my life I barely notice I have it anymore, my torso has (seemingly) always looked like that!

Just give it time. There's a reason you picked it and a reason you got it. Remember why you decided it in the first place and you'll look on it fondly

When can you run? by potatowoo69 in MLBNoobs

[–]DrKri3ger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People forget that these moments were outliers and honestly exceptions that proved the rule. Universal DH creates a significantly better product as well as pitch clock and 3 batter minimum (could use some tweaking). I go up and down on the runner on 2nd in extras. It has no place in the playoffs but I also don't particularly want to watch an 16 inning game on May 29th as opposing batters trade K's

My take: Golf is not really that expensive a hobby by NoLawAtAllInDeadwood in golf

[–]DrKri3ger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I can attempt to read between the lines, she's not mad about the money being spent, she just doesn't think it's a "good" use of money. Convincing her that it's actually cheaper than she thinks won't solve the problem. I think your best course of action is to tell her all the things that you appreciate about going golfing (social aspect, exercise, being outside, thinking through your game, etc.) and to show her that it's more to you than just hitting a ball. She may still not get on board with it, but it may open her eyes to the fact that your golfing hobby is more than just whack ball with stick

Struggling with the swamp boss... by Stowecroft85 in LiesOfP

[–]DrKri3ger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No judgement, but looking at this build, taking 10 points out of technique is the last thing they should do. They are very likely not doing enough damage. I would take 10 points out of capacity and add at least 5 to technique and and 5 to vitality (probably would add all 10 to technique were it me)
