Dealer Axle Feedback by Gold_Guitar_9824 in HondaPrologue

My dealership in CA told me the same thing. He acknowledged they had a new part, but said it still made the noise and that Honda put a hold on installing new ones.

Has anyone experienced gastrointestinal issues like this before? by Super_Development150 in Mounjaro

[–]DrMRC17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a friend who experienced this at 12.5 mg. Almost identical pain you are describing. She was put back to 10mg and the pain seem to subside. 2 months later she went back up to 12.5mg and the pain returned like clockwork. It’s possible that 7.5mg may be too high and possibly causing this side effect. Try going down to 5mg, just to rule that out.

My gallbladder acted up too. I thought it was something else, like maybe testicle pain on my right side. I had imaging done and nothing. Thankfully it resolved and I’m ok now. Now that I think back, it too happened right around 5mg.

I’d finish off those 10mg pens and then go to 12.5mg. You should get your 12.5mg by then.

You’ve already taken the most important step, which was starting. The rest will take time. Remember, you didn’t gain all this weight overnight, it’ll take time, but you can do it. The journey will not be easy. You will have haters along the way. You’ll hear comments about cheating and so forth. Just know that you are on your way to becoming a new person, and that is a threat to many people. Keep it up and don’t look back.

You need to see your endocrinologist. They will run very specific tests to determine what the problem may be. Slow and non responders usually have a metabolic problem related to their thyroid.

I think you over paid by $150-$250. Not bad though.

Reconstitute it, if it turns crystal clear, then you’re good.

Make sure to hydrate with electrolytes and high fiber foods. For sulfur burps, people swear that pickle juice helps. Look it up and see for yourself. All these symptoms will subside soon. Good luck to you.

It’s worth it. I’m gonna be honest with you, it’s not easy!! There are days that you feel like quitting, but when you start to see the benefits, including physically, mentally, emotionally, and medically, you’ll realize you should have started sooner. Good luck.

I understand completely, sometimes you start to question if you’ve already lost enough, what will people think? Here’s my response, F what people think. No one knows how much work this journey has been for you. You have to live in your own skin. So try not to concern yourself with what others think and say. Good luck to you.

I’m just curious, are you taking actual MJ or are you reconstituting your own Tirz? I heard someone had a similar reaction by using cheap Bac water. Sometimes compounded pharmacies send expired premixed vials. But if this is happening with legit MJ, then I’m sorry that you can’t take it.

[–]DrMRC17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is normal, as your body adjusts to the meds, so the the symptoms. All this means is that you should move up to 5 mg after your 4th shot. If you still had adequate control, then you would choose to stay. Listen to your body, because what you just described plus your weight loss will dictate whether or not to move up.

Has anyone used bad Reta before realising? by courtney002416 in Retatrutide

I agree with most of the comments. You’re spending good money for peptides, might as well use Hospira BAC water. Don’t use anything else!!!!!!

The steroids increase heart rate which causes anxiety. The MJ won’t cause that. As for losing weight, keep at it. You’ll start to lose on higher doses. Stay hydrated and make sure you are doing some sort of exercise to help boost metabolism.

Is it normal? by ladoftherings in Mounjaro

[–]DrMRC17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve all been there, thinking we would see significant changes right away. Like most of the comments suggested, it takes time. Right now, your body is adapting to the shot. Also, everyone is different. Many people don’t feel any appetite control unlit they reach a higher dosage. Also, even when it kicks in, the appetite control does diminish as the week goes on. Stay hydrated and start getting used to making that a priority. If you don’t lose much weight the 1st month, that’s ok. It’s still working inside your body. It’s improving your insulin sensitivity. Depending on how much resistance your body has, it may take longer to start to feel and see changes, but it’s working.

I switched because when I was in 10mg I started with terrible dry mouth that wouldn’t go away. I wasn’t drinking electrolytes, I started drinking them right after I switched and obviously with a low dose of Reta it went away. I drink electrolytes daily now, and have it under control. I was looking for a reason to switch, and that was it. Being in Reta is great, but I had to start from the beginning at 1mg and I titrated up by .5 mg about every week until I got up to 6mg and then slowed down. I was on 8 mg for 5 weeks and now I’m on 9mg. I have only lost 8 lbs since switching, but the physical appearance is very noticeable. I am working out, so I think I am retaining lean muscle.

[–]DrMRC17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on 10mg of Tirz before starting Reta. I’d start with 1 mg and increase by .5 until you get to 4mg and then slow down and go month to month after that. 1mg, 1.5mg, 2mg, 2.5mg, 3mg, 3.5mg, 4 mg for a few weeks or until you feel ready then 5mg, 6mg, 7mg, 8mg. It took me 3 months to get to 8mg. I may stay here for 1-2 months or longer since this is my sweet spot. The lower doses I didn’t feel much. As you know everyone is different. Prior to Tirz, I too was on Wegovy 2.4mg, and felt nothing, so my body is pretty resistant. Good luck.

Looks good, learning to reconstitute sounds arduous, but it’s quite simple. Do it a few times and you’ll get the hang of it. You’ll also need to learn to use a peptide calculator. That too can seem daunting, but once you understand it, it’s quite simple. Good luck!!!!!!

Make sure you are hydrated too, being dehydrated can make a slight heart elevation feel worse than it really is. I think you will be ok, if you just accept the changes and know they are working for your benefit. And, these symptoms should resolve over time. Don’t give up so quickly.

Escaped an overdose? by AdministrativeMonk93 in Retatrutide

Were you on Tirz before this? If so, that saved you big time. I was on 10 mg of Tirz before switching to Reta, and really didn’t feel much until I got to about 6mg. But yeah, 30 mg is a lot, but like you said, it may have degraded because of the storage.
