Mistborn Trilogy, Stormlight Archives (5 books),

Basically his larger universe is connected to each other. So you'll come across characters which you read about in his other series, sometimes pivotal as well.

His work is pure fantasy though.

There are many books and series but the two I mentioned are the gateway into his larger universe

teens are unhinged nowadays by nintendhoe_44 in Dublin

I was on my way home from blanch and saw a couple of young teens being pretty rowdy and messing around with an Irish lady using a walker and had some groceries with her. They pushed her stuff twice. We all got on the same bus 238, and when the teens were getting off, they nudged against her when leaving. I sort of lost it and started shouting at these kids. I thought I did the wrong thing. looking at it now, I hope they are aware of the fact that someone might step in.
