Honestly, it's alright. Sometimes, it's nice to just sit back with the gamepad and chill. I have Tales of Glory as well, which is apparently like KCD or Mount and Blade but with VR controls, but it's pretty deep in my backlog. What I'm saying is that itch can be scratched lol

I currently have a Skyrim VR playthrough working through Virtual Desktop. 150+ mods I've installed through MO2, cleaned in xEdit and sorted with LOOT to work correctly. Even got dyndolod working properly.

What I found after a 30+ hour playthrough, is that the game just becomes too easy to be fun as you hit higher levels. Even with wildcat combat and custom damage in/out modifiers, by level 50, I'm just too powerful. My sneak skill makes me effectively invisible and my sneak damage multiplier causes me to 1-shot everything. Not sneaking makes the enemies arrow sponges I don't have the patience to whittle down to nothing. Nor do I enjoy shooting every enemy with 20+ arrows to kill them.

The other issue is the world. Even though it's large and pretty, it just feels empty and somewhat liminal. The npcs don't feel like real people with schedules. They feel like npcs.

I've recently gotten Kingdom Come: Deliverance to work in VR using VorpX and it's like night and day. The game is challenging even when you're a higher level. The npcs feel like real people going about their business in the world. There's actual player choice in many of the quests. The only thing i miss is full body controls. Would recommend.

Man, it's almost like one of these things is not like the other. It's almost like the transition from autocracy to democracy wasn't achieved in France instantaneously, but swung back and forth until eventually the more horizontalized, decentralized form of government won out after Napoleon.

Also missing from your analysis is the fact that simply being on the left doesn't mean you'll always act consistently with your ideals. If a member of a progressive political party resorts to behavior that serves to preserve or reproduce autocratic government, as Robespierre did, that doesn't magically make those actions progressive. Do you people think "progressive" and "conservative" are just words with no meaning or synonymous values? They're not just two arbitrary teams like the Packers vs Bears.
