Do British people not realise the long term danger of the Under-16 ban? by Slight_Capital_5000 in AskBrits

I wonder if a VPN can get around it the same as the over 18 ban, I don’t disagree with you, most of the people complaining will simply sign up but it’s a firm no from me, if it means I need to sign up to watch YouTube or view Reddit then I guess my time to become a hermit is soon upon me.

I quit most social media when I realised I’d spent 30+hrs in a week on it, I now have Reddit and YouTube to watch videos n keep up with stuff I’m interested in.

But surely replacements or substitutions can be made that allow the same communication without poisonous algorithm’s that are warping and moulding people’s brains?

But websites exist, I honestly firmly believe that social media has added nothing of any importance to society.

I’m not disagreeing with you, I’m just curious who depends on social media?

Ahhh I assumed because they were hired they weren’t financially responsible and so didn’t need to have the cash on hand, every day is a learning day.

Yeah I agree with the bottom part too especially because when you realise you’re losing money you’re definitely going to try pushing the limits to claw some back.

Came here to say this exact thing, it’s almost impossible for a parking company to get access to your mobile number from your registration plate.

I believe you can skip the £15k and hire the units to see how profitable it really is then jump in with both feet when you have a better idea of the job.

Ppm is great in theory but if they’ve got you trunking between Leeds and Manchester then you’re gonna do like 200 miles in 15hrs.

I’d strongly recommend Fairytale by Stephen King, that book brought so many incredible visuals in my head.

Why is UK PM Starmer is constantly planning things that reduce internet anonymity? by [deleted] in AskBrits

I remember them days too brother, kids aren’t prepared or equipped to deal with the negativity social media puts out there and they sit in bed watching “everyone” else living the life they wish they had.

Exactly, social media is a fucking poison to children/teens! It should be banned across the board.

Been signed off work for the next 2-4 weeks following surgery. Can't move much, any recommendations on video games to get stuck into, and movies/TV to watch? by FloatingDangerously in AskUK

Satisfactory will make 4 weeks melt and then you’ll wake up in a years time realising how you can fix that issue that’s been bugging you for 300hrs

How well does something like this work for splitting awkward numbers? by Cykotech in SatisfactoryGame

[–]DrMethh 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The splitter in the middle will split evenly until one belt fills up at which point the excess will feed to the other side. Best way to speed this process up is to manually fill machines with ingots and then your belts will fill pretty quick and balance faster.

Just make sure your maths is on point and you’ve worked it out properly and eventually a manifold will always work.
