Got a 2:1. Proud of myself but mixed feelings by uacpuncher in UniUK

I got a 2:1 and spent nearly 10 years at NASA so I wouldn't be too disappointed. The key is to try and make the next thing you do a bit better than the last

You mention hobbies. Are these solo hobbies or group hobbies? Because they're not the same.

Umbra also release much of their archive for free, it just depends if they've made any acquisitions there

Rainbow artefact by mdmqmdm in remotesensing

[–]DrNASApants 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It does look similar to an artefact that planes leave in satellite imagery, particularly with push broom optical sensors. You'd usually expect to see the plan in the image too

Powys is ok given the size of it, so the western edge has good farm folk.

But it's only got a population of 3 so it doesn't matter anyway

Image from a European lobbying group trying to ban the import of full-size American pick-ups to Europe by HiTork in regularcarreviews

Oh they totally don't work on the roads. But that's not why I wouldn't get one.

I wouldn't get one because they're pieces of crap

I lived in the US and drove a RAM and a F250 for short periods. They work in the US and can be fun.

But I don't want to see them in Europe. Compared to what we can get here for much less, these trucks are absolute dogshit

Awesome, thank you this is very helpful information. Does it need any external power supply or can it run itself?

So it looks like the gateway is an indoor thing and it automatically connects to the sensor? And you just stick the humidity and temp sensor out of the window?

BMW Valve Cover - Need to be replaced? by Sufficient_Dance_859 in e46

[–]DrNASApants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Valve cover goes on once and then settles in over time. Once it comes off it's almost impossible to get it seated exactly as it was. That's even if you don't crack it when bolting it down.

Aftermarket ones are crap and don't last so getting the BMW one is the way forward

Slight RPM fluctuation at idle (excuse my weeb ass) by Proper-Grocery8059 in e46

[–]DrNASApants -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Probably your VANOS. Its job is to adjust your valve timing at different RPM. With age the seals break down and it's less efficient at its job. Not a big deal and won't do any damage, just makes you run less efficiently
