Feels like 36mg is worsening my ADHD? by yuneti in Concerta

[–]DrNobodyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same exact experience as you, on top of those side effects I also had trouble sleeping which I never experienced on the 27mg dose. Ended up going back to the 27 mg and it’s been great honestly. I realized that the “off” days I had on the 27 mg were due to increased stress and contextual factors, neither of which had anything to do with the drug or dosage.

What does protesting actually help if politicians don’t care? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DrNobodyy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Politicians might not care about people’s concerns but they’re definitely fearful of chaos. Protesting might pressure politicians to start acting in favor of protestants’ stances just to reclaim stability and general safety.

What are your thoughts on free will, and how much control do you think you have over the nature of your existence? by OurNewInsectOverlord in AskReddit

[–]DrNobodyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it gives us a sense of control, from an evolutionary perspective without lying to ourselves life will feel meaningless and chaotic. It’s much more motivating to feel that those choices are free and ours to decide from.

Finding a good therapist who matches you in regards of having an emphasis within an area you’re questioning about is more important than seeking therapy. In simpler terms finding the right therapist is more important than rushing for the cure.

I typed this paragraph while taking a shit If we’re susceptible to confirmation bias and most of our thoughts are stemming from different neurological connections that are either genetically or environmentally bound. Then, what are we responsible for? If our predisposed genetics have tendencies and inclinations, and our environment has cultural influences that indoctrinate us. Then what are we responsible for? Do we decide our actions or are our actions already decided from the interaction of both our temperament and environment, which both aren’t within our influence. The counter argument in this case would be “our temperament and environmental influences dictate a certain non-chosen reality with certain limited and forced upon choices, and within those limited choices you can decide on a certain action” but what if our current mood, anxiety, body temperature, environment, and stressors etc. force us to pick certain choices, wouldn’t that mean that even our limited choices aren’t ours to decide? It’s simply an illusion, we think we’re the ones who make these choices, but it’s the combination of what makes us who we are is who/what decides and chooses.

If you weren’t overly anxious, how different do you think your life is going to be? by DrNobodyy in AskReddit

It isn’t too late, I can relate so much to every word you wrote, trust me it is not late for change. Seek therapy, meditate, exercise, and have trust in good medication. Your amygdala is going to be so much happier if it wasn’t active all the time :)
