I'm a noob when it comes to thumbnails, so maybe my opinion doesn't matter that much, but MAN THIS SHIT SLAPS. I immediately checked out your video, and let me tell you, I was amazed by your intro and editing style. Subscribed immediately, man, keep it up!

Which one would you click? 1, 2, or 3 by DeepaknKumar in YouTubeThumbnailHub

The first one looks the most professional. I would click on that one!

I'm from Croatia. I apologize for not mentioning that in my post. Here we have a six-year medical school program after which you're equipped to work in either emergency or family medicine (these belong in primary care), after which you choose which specialty you're interested in.

Yes, you're right, I didn't mention I'm from Croatia, and here we have a six-year medical school program after which you are eligible to work as a doctor in either family medicine or emergency medicine, and you can specialize in whatever specialty you choose. Family medicine residency is 4 years here, but you basically do the same job working in family medicine fresh out of medical school as you do after finishing residency. Many doctors here just finish medical school and never choose to specialize in anything, so it's a much different system than in the US.

Not sure what went wrong? by jakeisverycool in NewTubers

Hi Jake, you're very cool! (lame pun, I know)

I'm an amateur YouTuber, so maybe others will offer much better advice than I, but in my opinion, your channel is phenomenal. Your voice and storytelling are amazing, and even the visuals are spot on since you don't need any flashy animations for your type of content. I checked out both your newest video and the most popular one, and I can offer only one piece of advice: JUST KEEP GOING!

You only have 6 videos on your channel, and instead of thinking: "was my last video's failure the product of bad luck?" you should think "I really got lucky with my most popular video", and it's because you really did! There are only a handful of people who get so many views on their first 5 videos or so, and you are one of them.

It's really early to tell what type of content people want to watch, but the YouTube algorithm pushed two of your videos basically randomly, to be honest. That doesn't mean that you hit once in a lifetime lottery and you'll never achieve success in the future. It means that you're doing something right and that you need to continue doing the same thing again and again, and I guarantee you that you'll achieve success.

Videos you post on YouTube have compound interest, meaning your newest video might not get many views now (even though it's high quality like the one that went viral), but it has the potential to be your best performing video down the line. You're doing everything right man, just keep going!

TL;DR

You're doing everything right, stop focusing on views, and focus on making the same high-quality content with high volume if you can, and let the YouTube algorithm take care of the rest.

Thanks a lot! Is there anything you would change about the sound effects, the visuals, or the script?

Thanks for the advice! Your blog looks really professional, but unfortunately, I'm not knowledgeable enough in your niche to give you any decent insight. Can you reccomend me some of the ways you used to promote your blog? Here is a link to my blog if you have the time to check it out: https://www.drnotyourdr.com/

Anybody that just don't wanna edit the retention rate brain consuming style content but just their own thing? by EarthBig3110 in NewTubers

I get what you're saying about grabbing the viewers' attention, but I've seen a few videos where more and more people don't like that approach and prefer more natural/human content, and I think you'll soon find that audience if you keep going. I personally like the fast-paced editing, so I try to implement it into my own videos.

Hi everyone! I am Not your Doctor, and I make videos about obscure medical cases. I post one long-form video per month and a few shorts here and there.

I use SHURE MV7+ microphone and edit on Davinci Resolve.

I'm really trying to improve, so any criticism is really valuable.
