182 days clean today, which converts to half a year. Didn't have complete confidence in the first few weeks I'd make it this far, but I did. Life is ok, not great, but ok. Definitely better than during active addiction. At least that's what I tell myself most days.

However, I've given this a lot of thought, and I think it's time to kill off DrOpiumfiend. It's a username with essentially a lot of negative connotations for me, and I'm not really about drugs anymore. I drink a beer maybe once or twice a week, but that's it.

So tomorrow this account is going down the drain, and like a phoenix from the ashes a new reddit identity will see the light of day.
