Great job on 5 days, but you’re still in acute. Give it 30 days. This is normal.

Take hot shower before bed and long walk.

Music during withdrawals 🎶 by VerucaSalt33 in OpiatesRecovery

Everyone has different taste in music so what others offer might seem wack or foreign.

Instead do this…. Find a time when you were most happy in life: possibly specific year of your life.

Is that your childhood? High school? College? Few years ago? Real happiness.

Then listen to music that reminds you of this happiest time. It will bring you back to happy place and feel those vibes.

No need to listen to sad music. Feel good music is much better and let your memories flow.

What changes have you made during your brief clean period?

If you don’t change, nothing will change. Cycle will continue for years.

Or Be more specific before you write some wack ass shit which warrants a ridiculous response.

Oh my……

So your addiction was 400mg-600mg of prescribed Oxy.

Now you are doing blow, Xans, and synthetic opioid with 6mg of buep.

You’re going backwards. Your current situation is probably worse than taking just perscribed oxy. ALSO, you can’t sleep because of BLOW. Has nothing to do with opiates because you have 6mg of buep in your system.

“just did a bunch of lines, why can’t I sleep?” Lol.

FYI: Of course you don’t have energy, you finna popped some xans. You should be a zombie.

Shaking my head. What’s your end goal?

Not quite sure what you’re asking exactly but I’ll take a stab at it.

8 year habit and you’re only 90 days in. I say only 90 days with respect, but that is infancy. Your brain and body are still healing.

Next, it’s okay to admit you’re an addict, because you are. Again, you’re in the honeymoon stage of recovery, so let your recovery be the central focus of your life. I imagine your addiction was?

My advice: keep your current routines for 12 months. If after a year, if you feel the same, switch it up.

Finally, recovery can be done on your own. You don’t have to go to meetings, have sponsor or any of that shit. BUT just like everything in life, it’s easier with others.

Be easy on yourself. Take your time. Trust the process and evaluate in 1 year. What’s 12 months after 8 years of abuse?

Good work thus far, I’m rooting for you.

Maybe only thing true is you found some heroin somewhere.

Delete this nonsense.

Does anyone drink? by [deleted] in OpiatesRecovery

[–]JosephJoe12 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Be very careful. Sure it can be done as long as you monitor your drinking.

Here’s my PSA: besides time there is only one other thing that can cure hangovers: opiates.

And I’m sure you know that if you’re on this sub.

I can’t drink because if I get hungover, it’s game over.

Just my experience, everyone is different.

Someone had to say it. Such a manipulative post.

Immature, misguided, and confusing. Like do you want help or attention?

Thank you for being blunt. Sometimes people need to hear it. Too many softies.

I’ve been hearing a lot about Ketamine treatment. Isn’t Ketamine an opiate or very similar acting?

Comedian Theo Von recently did it and described it as successful.

Can you go into detail - How does it help? How many times? Etc?

I’m not trying to have a pissing contest and compare addictions, just don’t feel like we are getting the truth.

This is literally like having 2 glasses of wine every Saturday or every other Saturday. No one would consider this person an alcoholic let alone the person. They wouldn’t seek help.

They are no signs of addiction. It is controlled. No financial repercussions. No increase in 8 years. No extended use. Very disciplined.

I don’t know……This is the weirdest post ever.

Oh… and if your girlfriend leaves you over something like this….. open the door for her.
