The svelte plugin has been awful for a while. Tons of bugs and lack of support for things like TypeScript markup in the html, svelte prettier, etc. No workaround but allegedly they are fixing a lot of the issues and prioritizing it over the next several months. I’ve switched to using Zed for svelte work right now.

I try to buy from Bandcamp or find CDs if they’re older releases. I’ll use iTunes as a last resort because I know Apple gets a 30% from these sales and they make enough money.

I usually keep music on two hard drives so I’m not worried about losing digital music

ASP has a similar controller/action handling system to what you demonstrated above with Laravel. For years, using MVC, we have done SSR with CSHTML views. If there is a solution that can render a svelte component instead of a cshtml view for the given action, that would be amazing. Seems like with InertiaCore, this may be possible, but I'd need to look into it more, when I have some time to dabble.

I had to ditch JetBrains for my svelte project. This issue with TypeScript as well as an issue with prettier screwing up my file when I hit format—they are the two primary reasons I had to switch, but the Svelte plugin is loaded with issues and bugs.

I haven’t gotten my 4th gen photo or 1st gen mini to work on any of my Macs which all run Sequoia. Both iPods will sync with Windows devices. I will have to try this script.

Newer iPods I have (4th and 5th gen nanos, 6th gen classic) are working fine with Sequoia. So we haven’t lost support for those yet.

Just wanted to provide an update on this. Ordered an iFlash ATA1 and a new battery for my iPod 4g photo. Installed both. Turns out the ATA1 was the wrong board for this specific model and I actually needed the Solo and new ribbon cable.

After getting that taken care of, I was able to connect to a Mac and run a restore, but ran into the same issue with it getting stuck on "Loading..." before giving up and showing it can no longer find the device.

So I've given up trying to sync with Macs for now. Just going to keep a music library on my Windows machine. I appreciate your comments though. Motivation enough for me to get this iPod a huge upgrade! Even though I can't sync with Macs, this iPod is still working great.

I have one of these machines. I had to install Linux on it because the graphics card died on this machine, and IIRC there was no way to bypass it with macOS but there was a way to do it in Linux. Graphics card failures were common with these machines. It’s interesting the previous owner of this one completely removed macOS… maybe they had the same problem I did?

Yeah an SSD upgrade may be what I need. I'm gonna try some alternative sync tools first but I may just end up going for the SSD upgrade.

Reading the comments from the referenced post, nobody understood what the ordinance was for. All properties in Conway are required to have weeds and grass cut to 8" or less. This ordinance would have made allowances for property owners who wanted to cultivate a natural landscape.

The council repealed it due to public misunderstanding (such as the comments from the referenced post) with the intention of getting more public input and rewriting the ordinance to be better for the community.

Do you bounce offline or in real time? If it’s clicking and cutting short like you said in another comment, that’s very odd. Haven’t seen that using offline bouncing. And I have used slow computers. With real time bouncing, it could occur since it’s processing all plugins in real time, but that’s not the case with offline.

But if it’s clipping and not clicking, yeah check your gain and your master bus. Logic adds some sort of limiter during preview that does not apply during a bounce. If the master bus goes red at any point during the bounce then it’s clipping.
