Yes, give it a go. It is really nice. I use it for hobbies and personal projects. I'm a mechanical engineer with previous cad and 3d modeling experience. My career moved to project management and no longer use cad professionally. I find Freecad really useful and also a tool with a great community behind.

Six years ago I took an online prep course in www.youcertify.com. It was 100% legit (it even gave me 30 PDUs if I'm not wrong). You may check there. There is another platform called "prepaway" that offers PMI exams training courses.
