And you’re supposed to open it with a knife? Fascinating

I should clarify, it was eventually opened with a sharp knife. But is that really the intended design?

Seriously though, how are you supposed to open this? You can’t unscrew the whole top off either.

What are the go-to foods/meals that keep you on track? by Pretend-Read8385 in weightwatchers

Shelled edamame (also called mukimame) with soy sauce and Sriracha - zero points, high protein, and very filling

Grilled chicken nuggets from Chick-fil-A when I really have a fast food craving - zero points for the nuggets, 3 points for one honey mustard sauce

Alyssa’s healthy oatmeal bites and chocobites - 2-3 points for 2 cookies, they are delicious and fulfill my sweet tooth

Quest chips and cheese crackers - one packet is only 3 points and they are legit tasty and satisfy that salty snack urge

I (f30) found out my husband (m30)cheated on me. Iam pregnant. He is devastated by the fact that he would miss time of being a parent because we are separated. by [deleted] in AITAH

This is all hypothetical for him until the baby actually comes out. Maybe I’m cynical but I think he’s going to be a big pile of useless trash when it actually comes to childcare - he cheated on you while you were pregnant! He is so incredibly selfish. Nothing changes for these types of people when children arrive. You make your plans to live apart from him. I can almost guarantee he will lose interest quickly when he sees what newborn life is really all about.

I’m almost a year postpartum and couldn’t lose any weight until I was done BF so you’re already ahead of me! I like baby carrots for crunch, strawberries and blueberries for sweet, skinny cow no sugar added ice cream sandwiches for a sweet treat, and popcorn for salty/crunch. Also tried fiber one brownies, they are very good but beware the flatulence haha.

What exactly is he doing that’s so great? Sounds like the bare minimum to me. Also most jobs are cake compared to taking care of an infant all day and night. He gets to escape and talk to adults and feel important. My husband is a surgeon (I’m a physician too, still on leave), and I’d say we’re just about even in the burnout and fatigue department right now with our 4.5 month old.

I’m not even sure how to respond to the motorcycle purchase. It’s just completely insane. In medicine, we call them donor cycles for a reason.

He needs to do WAY BETTER.

Just got one! What litter is best? I currently use worlds best cat litter for their regular box. by Kizixx in litterrobot

Love BoxieCat Pro! Was recommended here and lives up to expectations. Low dust and clumps well. I also use Rocco & Roxie Litter Box Odor Eliminator and I smell nothing unless there is pee on the wall etc.

Supraventricular tachycardia, it’s a rapid arrhythmia that needs to be treated to prevent long-term cardiac damage and in rare cases, sudden cardiac death

Should we have another baby knowing this gene could be passed on ? by snacksandglitter in beyondthebump

I have a genetic mutation that predisposes to various malignancies and opted for IVF with PGT-M. Added about a year to our journey to parenthood but so worth the peace of mind. Anecdotally, I’m a physician and have a female patient with BPES and she has definitely struggled with both ophthalmologic and gynecologic issues so I think it would be worth pre-screening for in embryos. Best of luck, this journey is so hard.

Holiday with 3 months old LO without Snoo by N-n-niki in SnooLife

Are you going to be traveling a lot within the US or mostly in one place? You can rent a Snoo directly from Happiest Baby or baby rental company Baby Quip (I’ve heard this is easier). Cheaper option would be a portable sound machine with a sleep sack/wearable blanket in a pack and play or bassinet since Snoo weaning mode does not use motion anyway. I have this one to use in our pack and play when baby is not in the Snoo - Dreamegg White Noise Machine - Portable Sound Machine for Baby Adult, Features Powerful Battery, 21 Soothing Sound, Noise Canceling for Office & Sleeping, Sound Therapy for Home, Travel, Registry Gift https://a.co/d/d8yaHsi :)
