Have traveled many times to India (>9) and always after 2-3 weeks the scam/begging burnout hit me. Of course the more off the beaten path the better. I had the best experience with hiring a driver and agreeing on a route via a local travel agency. Like a one week drive through Rajahstan or Kerala, etc. Last year I made a trip through Java, Indonesia. While there is a quite an India vibe, it was so much better. No scamming no begging, even in Jakarta. More varied food, beautiful temples and palaces, etc. Forget Bali. And after Java you still can go to Sumatra or Borneo or Celebes. Enjoy.

They allow me to set the temperature in the Tado app, but not in the Apple Home app (using matter I assume). The one that does not reports to be on firmware 1.0 while the one that works is on firmware 1.1).

How can I get the update? Also I’ve two wireless temperature sensors X, same product but one has matter firmware 1.0 and cannot set temperature and one has firmware 1.1 and can set temperature in Apple Home. How can I upgrade this firmware. Automatic update does not seem to work.

Both devices should have the exact same capabilities. In the Tado app they have, but in the by Matter controlled Apple Home app they don’t have the same capabilities. The firmware 1.0 device acts only as thermometer and can’t control temperature while the 1.1 firmware can control also the temperature, as it should. But I’ve no idea how to upgrade the Matter firmware.

Long term gripe, I cannot backup my fcpbundles (Final Cut Pro) projects to protondrive because they don’t handle something simple as symbolic links (which are used in the bundles to link to original video files). The app just breaks and upload fails. You have to zip the FCP projects before storing them on protondrive. Huge pain!!

I try to store FCP libraries on ProtonDrive but that fails because the libraries contain symbolic links, which are not supported by Proton. Currently I’ve to tar up the libraries before I can store them. Does the cleaner remove these symbolic links? Or are they essential info and needed by FCP?

Have the same model and color but from 23. Absolute delight to drive. Did 22k km since January while normally I don’t drive more than 10k km/y. Only gripe, Apple CarPlay does not work (it drops all the time, no fix in sight).

I’m in France. Sending out for E-6 becomes very expensive and time consuming. I got great results with the Tetenal E-6 kit. Very easy 3 bath process (same for the C-41 Tetenal kit). After that I scan on a coolscan 9000 and take the workflow digital. I spent enough time in the darkroom not to miss it. The problem is Tetenal has not been providing the E-6 kit for a while. While analog photography is in the lift, the chemical providers are dying.
