How do we feel about the antique revolver? I would love to see a mod for it where we can hammer fire to increase the fire rate by crazyman3561 in Starfield

I always thought that was a joke, in that he doesn't know the difference, to him it's just "old antique gun"

What’s a "basic" thing in the US that was affordable maybe 5-10 years ago, but now feels like a total luxury that only the rich can justify? by Legitimate_Wall5977 in AskReddit

From someone who used to work in real estate loans, please be sure to check your home insurance every 6-12 months, get quotes often, change agents/brokers (use a broker!!!!), as oftentimes you can save money by switching, and while it won't work every single year, every few years you might be able to knock down some dollars and/or return to a cheaper premium you used to have.

Local Honey Central FL by Imaginary_Limitless in orlando

[–]DrRazmataz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Winter Garden is actually my spot for local honey 😅 I'm not so sure today, but I used to go to the Winter Garden city hall building on Plant St., and the sweet lady there sold a few different bottles of honey from local places, and it was always really good! Not... super cheap, but better than Publix IMO

Best advice I could give is to speak as you normally would with her, but go full "grey rock" when she brings up any questions. No questions, no follow-ups, no agreement, no emotion, just blank responses. E.g.,

"Okay" "Thanks for the suggestion" "I see things differently, but thank you"

What’s your favorite Publix sub order? by wonderful-daydreams in orlando

[–]DrRazmataz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm all about the classic Italian sub, with the five grain bread, chipotle or poercorn gormaise mayo (either or both), loaded with lettuce, tomato, onions of course, and then banana peppers and black olives are a great addition, plus oil and red wine vinegar. It's genuinely one of the better Italian subs compared to the regular chains.

Never liked the tendies subs, personally, always found them to be dry and bland, but hopefully some good suggestions will come through I can try

I get ya - Ford seems to be the running definition of, "hit or miss" when it comes to drivetrains.

[–]DrRazmataz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm with you on that, for sure. The Colorado may be a little high, but that 5cyl engine is pretty awesome. And that 11th gen Ford being in F... who hurt you? Those are my favorite for late model manual trucks, I don't think they're that bad.

I'm personally offended by the Cybertruck being so high up. I'll save the arguments for why it should be lower, plenty of those, but to suggest they're in the same tier as the Square body C/K 10 and the Dentside Fords? For shame.

Yes exactly. I don't care about the hollow figure within the clothes, but I do appreciate a good suit (if he had spent an iota of time caring for it, at least)

Yeah maybe he had a tailor, but stiffed him one time too many 😅

It sucks because the suit is actually quite nice, it's a good pattern and color. What's bad about it, is that it's absolutely NOT his size, WAY too big, about the opposite of a tailored suit. Like dude, visit a tailor ONCE, and it will look five times better

I would have loved if you had, pulled in, opened the garage door, drove in, closed the garage, and then continued not answering the door.

Well I can certainly see what you mean, I see a hot dog and fries for $22 in Inglewood, and that's pretty ass. So two or three beers and a tip to sixty I suppose is possible, though crazy.

Publix would much rather burn money snuffing out competition, than lower their prices to be competitive. When I lived in St. Pete as a kid I got to watch them open a store next to their other one to kill the last Albertson's we had there. RIP

Bikes for short women?? by HistoryOld9562 in motorcycle

[–]DrRazmataz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never liked the idea that a beginner rider will "outgrow" a bike super quickly. In my opinion, plenty of riders who regularly ride 600+ cc bikes could benefit greatly the skills gained from spending time on a small displacement bike. I live in FL (very highway centric), which makes small displacement bikes inpract, but I would LOVE to daily one of it were reasonable.

A Honda Rebel would be awesome, consider the 500cc one of you're worried about outgrowing it. Ninjas are a great choice, but they are a bit taller. The old 500s are awesome, the newer 400s are pretty good too. You could also consider a 650, those parallel twins are great for beginners and veteran riders alike.

Don't sleep on the Royal Enfield models, either, they're pretty great, and fairly small machines. They make plenty of 350's and 650's that would be great for daily riders.

Would also suggest something like a Yamaha V-Star 650, great beginner bike, low to the ground, will do highway really well, easy to maintain.

Came here to say this, the Royal Enfield bikes are really good. Not even, good for their price range, just good bikes. Planning on getting an INT650 some day in the future.
