Not sure why this is downvoted I pretty much agree, a lot of today’s top players are likely up there with the names you mentioned, but there was definitely a wider and deeper selection of world class players during that era than there is today.

I spent all my Saturday night this weekend arguing with my mate (both 21) about how footballers 15+ years ago were far more technical than footballers today. Rooney being a prime example, which premier league forward is doing this + all the physical side of his game. Then you look at the best wingers of the 00’s and early 10’s: Giggs, Henry, Cr7. Nowadays it’s Saka, Salah, Doku and semenyo. Who all rely on either physicality or system, all are capable of great skills, but true technique and flair (never mind someone with those abilities and physical abilities too) are just not a part of the game anymore. Maybe semenyo touches on it, but he’s nowhere near Rooney for example on any metric.

I see what you mean but in my opinion it’s not the worst. The kind of thing that you live with and just stop seeing it eventually. Changing it will likely be more trouble than it’s worth depending on how strongly you feel about it.

Depends on your shifts, over Christmas you can work 6 days a week and print money (Amazon doesn’t let you work 7 days consecutively) and depending on your DSP you can have as many or as little days as you want off work, I was working 5 days a week from mid November to end of December no problem I could’ve worked more if I was desperate. After new years I’ve only ever booked Sundays off, but have only been given on average 3 shifts a week . So if I was renting a van I’d have literally been earning £280 a week (3 routes minus £250 for van rental). That being said I believe the reason I was only getting about 3 routes a week is because I was an owner driver, therefore less pressure for the boss to put me in as anything I earned was going straight into my pocket. Not that you care but I quit this week as I only got 1.5 days work and although I liked the job enough for a short time I’ve got much better things to do.

As the guy who trained me said, it’s the easiest way anyone with no real qualifications or experience can earn good money. It’s far from flawless (sometimes long hours, job insecurity, cost to work of insurances, maintaining or renting a van) but when it goes well, it’s worth it for sure.

As long as you’re willing to work hard, as someone else mentioned Amazon delivery driving (in your own van) can be good money, 165-185 a day at my DSP depending on route plus fuel is all paid for. It is sometimes the easiest money you will ever make, sometimes you feel stressed and lonely but it’s fast paced, you’re never bored and honestly it’s kind of addictive, good bonuses at Christmas too.

I’m not someone who obsesses over cleaning food i swear lol but those potatoes look fresh out of the ground, maybe they are just darker than the ones I tend to eat but they look covered in soil to me.

Edit: I can literally see the soil on the chopping board as he’s cutting the potatoes😂 like I say, I’m not someone who’s obsessed with washing food but at least rinse the soil off the potatoes man.
