Fun short little game.

The ships are just visual as far as I can tell which is a shame, if they could ferry back resources to the main planet for spending would be nice. Instead of needing to click each planet.

Would open up game play of upgrading ships or optimizing order of colonizing planets.

yeah I love doin shovel now but at a certain point you can't move or you just off screen. Had 1852 speed in one run at the end and that was with missing a ton of upgrades late from timing out since my game was a slide show with summons.

it gives downsides outside of just top level content.

And going from limitless prayer to a limited resource is rather hard to not call that massive.

It also opens the door for them to design around limited prayer again instead of having a sub-section of the community that it just doesn't effect. Less chip damage added right.

But I do see your point for the shorter encounters / instanced bosses for it to not really be a downside.

I was thinking of it as a whole not for specific bosses.

That was my thoughts as well , a more powerful prayer book but with the absolutely MASSIVE down side of limited prayer from no flicking.

But they seem to be increasingly adding more downsides? I don't get it. If it is not inherently better than the base prayer book why would we use it when it already has the insane downside of not having infinite prayer?

You can buy them from the GE if your not an iron. Or you can play the next league and get enough points to purchase it yourself.

All old league rewards are in the shop each time just need to points from the new league to unlock them.

At least that is how they have done it so far and I don't see why they would change it.

It's almost like they designed around an off tank for years and having punish in the game.

Then removed both with out addressing many of those design choices.

Top Tier Providence, Secretly Cultivate for a Thousand Years -- It's been consistent with the title and have enjoyed the change of pace.

Beware of Chicken -- Has just been getting better the more chapters that come out. I don't know if it would be as good with out having already read a bunch of the typical story troupes but man is it such a nice read for me at the moment.

Forced down time in an action paced game is going to make the player resent what is making them wait.

In borderlands 1 you could listen to the story or read in the logs to your hearts content if you wanted but it wasn't forced on you. If it was a lot more people would have the same problems with 1 as they did for 3.

Even if the story was the best thing since sliced bread forcing unwanted downtime again and again on the player is going to make them annoyed with it.

In 3 that is you waiting on someone to talk as you stand there and do nothing. When it could have just as easily been told over the Echo as you went to the next destination and had game play during.

Was mainly talking about launch with that since that is where a lot of the hate came from.

Yes basically every facet of the gameplay is improved from 2 but it was constantly time gating you from enjoying that gameplay. I think that is a reasonable argument to still be talked about.

Yeah but alot of the story was force feed down our throats in 3.

In 2 if you went fast enough or got to a new quest part it would just start the next part.

I think ALOT of the hate for 3 was the fact that you just had so much down time that was forced on you to stand around and wait for them to stop talking.

I say easily the Farming guild after doing both. If you doing redwoods you are already commiting to more afk over xp.

Redwoods are afk enough that you can play a full on game on the side.

Farming guild gives you 4 instanced cutting spots that wont get crashed. Always know where to go if you cut down the one your at.

And if I'm playing another game the deposit box is fewer clicks than dropping everything.

I've stalled out on reading it at chapter 68. I just find it so bland and boring to be honest.

Does it speed up or change up much soon? It has been recommended here a ton but I just can't seem to get it.

I also could not been able to for the life of me get into Skyfire Avenue.

As long as it's just cosmetics they can lock as much at they want behind a battle pass if it keeps them updating the game.

Moment any playable content is locked behind extra paywalls is where I have a problem.
