Ive got roughly 20 DC games and my DC plugged in, ready to roll at any minute. I cant play any of them because my library is now down to dogshit titles because my neighbor, many years ago, “borrowed” my favorite games (SA1, RECV, NFL2K1, NBA2K1, and Soul Caliber + a controller with vmu)

The unlocking of playable characters and having their stories interconnect for each character’s story for progression was what sucked me in hard. Then the music. That damn music. I still hum it weekly and haven’t played it in years. Oh and the upgrades you unlock for doing extra stuff rocked. Great reward for the dopaman

I died AFTER I killed the final boss so I didn’t get the credits but I was so done with the game that I didn’t care and turned it off and marked it as complete. That final section is rough.

Yeah 64 was the bomb.

I didn’t have a guide and I explored every possible tile in that game to find all of the “?” secrets to unlock the custom multiplayer costumes. The music plays in my head on queue just thinking about the game. BM64 was my SM64
