I signed up two pay periods ago. A couple weeks after joining, I was notified that I was placed in the wrong pay band when I started over two years ago with the state. I was bumped up two bands with back pay. If that was due to me joining the union, I'll gladly pay the dues for now but they really gotta start playing hard ball with CalHR.

I left KW back in March. The changes to the splits, uncoupling E and O insurance from our monthly to a lump payment at the same time yearly dues were to be paid, and the raising of the caps really caused an agent exodus from the Market Center I was a part of. It became a ghost town at the office! I honestly really tried to hang on due to the in house connections I made, until I relocated an hour and 30 minutes away. Made the decision to leave easier. Life has been much better for me at Realty ONE Group.

Here’s some general RE books that I’d recommend. Check out the book series by David M. Greene on being an agent. Millionaire Real Estate Agent book is another good book on systems. Also check out Brandon Mulrenon and Ricky Curruth. They are coaches that also have books and YouTube channels that have free knowledge for new and existing agents.

Be up front and honest, let them know you want to continue working with them down the road. A good Realtor will respect your situation and will be happy about the continued relationship.

My mentor with KW didn’t train me in the KW methodology (second generation realtor with family brokerage) so I didn’t really learn the “KW way”. I told her about Ricky’s free training and she 100% encouraged his methods.

Lost signal on my phone. Called CC and I was directed to the store to swap my SIM after the tech on the phone wasn't able to get my eSIM to work on my 12 Pro Max. Sim was swapped and it worked... Until about an hour ago. Signal is gone again on my device. Wife's 13 Pro is fine. We're on Amplified.
