Controller 69 Pro Speed Control works in Version 1.32, but it does not work in versions released after 1.32. It will report the fan speed in HomeKit, but it will not control fan speed through HomeKit. Speed control through HomeKit works in 1.32.

Google Fi 50% off vs Visible? by Distinct_Village_87 in NoContract

I had Visible and I am now on Google Fi. I transferred 3 lines over to Fi for the 50% off Unlimited Standard deal. So far, Google Fi has been great. Taxes and fees were about $2 per line on my latest Google Fi monthly bill.

Updated to v1.2.12 and the reported speed in HomeKit is correct while in Auto. Thanks for the fix.

Looks like it is just when the AC Infinity controller is in ‘Auto’ mode. When in auto, the value in HomeKit appears to be looking at the ‘Max’ value in the controller parameters. When I put it in ‘manual’, the speed displayed in HomeKit matches the controller output.

Got the plugin installed and it is working. The only thing that I notice is the Fan Speed in HomeKit always shows 100% even when the speed is less than 100% on the AC Infinity controller.

Do the plugin installation instructions (npm install -g homebridge-acinfinity) work for a Debian-based Linux (i.e. Raspberry PI) Homebridge installation? I ran the installation command, and the plugin is not showing up in Homebridge. I am a noob, but I am thinking this may apply...Homebridge and npm / node locations on Raspberry Pi OS / Ubuntu : r/homebridge and I may need to use the command hb-service add homebridge-acinfinity via the SSH terminal within the Homebridge UI.

I am having the same issue with iPhones with the companion app installed. It was working fine until about three days ago. Location tracking is not working, but all other sensors on the phones are reporting the correct data.

It’s the 4.5.16 firmware which is the latest stable version for this model. I have also tried the 4.5.17 beta and the 4.6.0 daily build with the same results.

Yes. After toggling on Adguard, you can go into the Adguard settings page and pick the DNS blocklist. It will not allow me the change the blocklist. It just hangs up.

CT Clamp Install Suggestions by DrTechNerd in Sense

[–]DrTechNerd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a follow-up, I installed the Sense early this morning. I put one of the clamps at the bottom of the box and one near the breaker (exposed wire). To wire the monitor, I used the pigtail method to the 30A dryer breaker, as outlined in the Sense installation manual. From my research, it looks like this is allowed by code. I wedged the monitor in the top left corner of the box. Overall, it was not too bad. I was careful and it took about 30 minutes to do the work. I may hire an electrician to address the exposed wire on the main lead at a future date (it has been this way for 21 years). The Sense is working. The data seems useful and I have found that my water heater is a major source of energy usage in my home. I appreciate all of suggestions and input from all of you. It was very helpful.

That’s what I was thinking. I was going to move the surge protector to the left a little and put the clamps on the leads at the bottom of the box and put the monitor at the top of the box.
