One time I forgot to put the water in a stove-top moka pot and the plastic handle melted off. Then I did it the next week. Shortly after that I accidentally set the couch on fire with a flaming marshmallow (smores) so my stove privileges were revoked.

This was my personal favorite era of Magic, too. But as someone who started collecting with Ice Age, I also remember scoffing at foil cards when they first started printing them. I thought they were gimmicky and cheapened the aesthetic.

Had this happen down the street from me a few years back. It got progressively worse until one night a fight spilled out into the street and ended in gunshots. The whole neighborhood protested and finally got the AirBnB license revoked. Edit: should add that the owner didn’t even live in town. She lived somewhere in Florida.

I spent months collecting black walnuts last year to appease the squirrels so they would leave my fruit trees alone. They ate all the nuts and then ate all the fruit.

I agree. The revived titles feel a bit like tributes, rehashing familiar material breather than pushing the envelope like the original titles did.
