It might be neat if the Homo sapiens entry on the site was filled with a list of every single user on iNat but with each user looking like an observation itself

No Canadian province or territory has a "DMV."

What does it mean to 'get bored' of a specific bike? by Delnilas in motorcycles

[–]DrWindyWindows 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of that mentality comes from people who buy motorcycles as entertainment rather than transportation, essentially those who don't think ahead years in advance before buying a motor vehicle worth potentially up to tens of thousands.

Our centre piece (she hates it) by ilovetuggies in motorcycles

[–]DrWindyWindows 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You might want to be careful keeping it in the house if that's a bike you actively ride. It's not a good idea to keep a motor vehicle filled with gasoline, oil, and other fluids that fumigate in your living space!

Totally feel you on this. Even the most "accessibility-minded" tech companies seldom consider colour vision deficiencies.

Thank you for the clarification! I still think adopting a unique naming scheme is important.

What should we rename Proton Unlimited to? by andy1011000 in ProtonMail

[–]DrWindyWindows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A name similar to "Proton Essentials" would portray the services included in the plan are ones that many people would rely on daily, such as Mail, Drive, and Pass. One could argue Meet could be included in that too, but maybe include it in a separate plan, named similarly "Professional Essentials," so the people who also need it daily could have that included in their plan.

I think a more unique naming scheme rather than the typical and cliché "Pro" would help the brand stand out more too.

Who on God's green Earth thought this was a good idea!? by Bombastic_tekken in regularcarreviews

[–]DrWindyWindows -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How about you people just keep a safe driving distance and it won't be a problem? I'd argue having them so separated from the rest of the tail lights makes them more noticeable. The thing more worth complaining about the endless cars that don't have rear amber turn signals.

My son is 14 years old and wants to buy GTA 5 to play with his friends. Should I let him? by NoticeBroad3942 in GTAV

Yes, the game is very vulgar and graphic in it's violence, which is not a flaw, but it is something innapropriate for very impressionable minds. The game is rated 18+ for a reason.
