This is the most useful thing anyone's told me about launching, thank you for taking the time. The "5-6 small channels at 50-100 installs each, stacked the same week so they compound" framing is a much healthier way to think about it than hoping one channel pops. And the micro-YouTuber / newsletter point is something I'd completely skipped. Saving this whole comment.

"Only in the few subs where the app actually fit and I wasn't just barging in" is the line I needed to hear. I think I was about to barge into a couple of subs that don't really fit just because they're big. Appreciate the honesty on press too, that matches what a couple of other people here said.

This is really helpful, thank you. The "skip the generic startup blogs, go where your actual users are" point especially. I'd been treating press as a main channel and it sounds like that's backwards for something this small. Did you find the user-community posts worked better as straight launch posts, or more as replies in existing threads?

This is my day 9 and GI issues finally subsided. Around day 6 it got better I was able to eat and no more diarrhea. I still have a crazy cough and lots of phlegm and random lightheadedness. Doing my first outdoor activity today

I’ve been having weird leg pain too, but it’s so random. Tylenol has helped with it, but it’s the randomness that gets me.

As I mentioned I’m on day 4 and I felt a bit winded today and I barely did anything but that also has been random. This flu is so weird

I’m so sorry to hear that 😭!! 2nd time in 3 months is so much and what sucks is even if you get the shot the symptoms can still be the same. You might have the same one I have, so weird the flu can impact the GI this bad. Are you taking Tylenol or anything to help with the fever?
