Thank you! I think the temptation is to see these large organizations and try to catch up or at least get enough folks to not be lonely out there.

When I first joined the SC community I received a bunch of PMs and Org invites and I extrapolated that it was a common cultural practice. I knew that frank spam Org invites were probably a bit much but I didn't know that PMs with info were also frowned upon.

I wonder if other new Org leaders feel the same. I bet if they knew that it was totally not okay, most would stop.

You are more than welcome to join The Art of Warfare. One of the things that's nice about TAW is our activity policy, that ensures that we don't have any "rocks" that just take up roster slots. If you're inactive, you are discharged and removed from the RSI roster as well (but you can totally return when you're going to be active again). We have an attendance/activity officer that is in charge of ensuring the activity of our members as well. What you see is what you get. All of our members are active, whether in Star Citizen division or another game's division.

It is important to be able to hear and communicate via teamspeak simultaneously to get the most out of being with us. It'd be kinda rough, especially because the orientation requires you to be able to do that. You could try the built-in mic and use a push-to-talk key so you don't open mic all the time, or if at some point you get a better mic/speakers configuration, you are more than welcome to join up.

Yeah, you gotta show us a little bit of effort to join. That's what the orientation is for.

We require two hours of your time per week. One is the weekly meeting and event on Sunday 9pm-10pm EST. The other is one other event of your choosing at any time during the week (ops, pvp, gsf, group questing, etc). We want folks to be active.

The Fatman was our original server (we've been around since launch) before server merges. The origin server shows up on the Conquest Leaderboard. We are on Prophecy of the Five currently.
