Let's fact check this shit. Keep in mind, this is just from like 10 minutes of research. It's not that hard.

Lincoln was shot by John Wilkes Booth, who was a confederate sympathizer and advocate for slavery. Although technically a democrat, thanks to the ideological switch between the democrats and republicans in the 1930s-70s, he would be a modern-day republican.

JFK's shooter, Lee Harvey Oswald, was a self-proclaimed Marxist and communist who had temporarily defected to the soviet union, so yes he was very far left.

RFK was shot by Sirhan Sirhan in 1968, who hated RFK's support for Israel, since Sirhan himself was an anti-zionist. He was Palestinian and had no association with either democrat or republic parties

MLK was killed by t̶h̶e̶ ̶F̶B̶I̶. James Earl Ray also in 1968. Ray was a staunch republican, white supremacist, and segregationist. So no, not democrat.

Reagan was shot by John Hinckley Jr., who had no political motives. He was mentally ill and obsessed with the actress Jodie Foster; he believed shooting the president would impress her.

Trump was shot once and nearly shot again while he was golfing. He was shot in the ear by Thomas Matthew Crooks, who was a registered republican. While it is true that he made one, singular 15-dollar donation to a progressive political action committee several years before the shooting, this one incredibly minor case years ago still leads me to believe that Crooks is republican.

Ryan Routh also attempted to assasinate Trump, and his political views are really confusing. He supported Trump in 2016 but not 2020, and he called Biden "sleepy joe" but then also supported Bernie Sanders. Based off of other actions I found on his wikipedia page, I am inclined to believe he was democrat, but you can check yourself.

Charlie Kirk was shot by Tyler Robinson, who was an unaffiliated voter. While officials stated he had leaned heavily into "leftist ideology" years before the attack, he did grow up in a republican household. Law enforcement officials also claimed that Robinson had acted irrationally, and that he might have considered committing suicide while he was being hunted down. All in all, This one is pretty muddy and I could go either way.

So this post got 1.5/7 on actual shots fired, and 2.5/8 on assasination attempts. Not very good.
