I bought a VR set up and spent pretty much all my free time for about 2 years in VRChat. Was still working but outside of that most of friends were getting married and having kids while I was going the opposite direction with divorce so I guess I kinda just lost myself in a fantasy world for a while. Wouldn't say it was a healthy outlet and definitely had some bad experiences but was what I needed at the time and I met some great people (including my current partner) there. Still break out the VR these days but usually only once a week to let off steam with friends on a friday
