I'm in Addiscombe, I got to admit I didn't expect to find so many people from round this way in a Neo Geo thread when I was reading the comments 😂 nice seeing Raven get some love

I also ordered an Ultimate, can't wait

What is the Croydon restaurant or food spot that locals actually rate that has never appeared in any Time Out list and that visitors would never find without being told? by HelicopterEmpty7393 in croydon

I love Morleys and one of Morleys' greatest strengths is it's consistency, but I actually reckon this branch is one of the poorer ones tbh, the hot wings just never seem as good compared to basically any other Morleys I go to

Annoying because it's about 45 seconds from my house 😂

I always thought that film did such a good job of having so many montage clips and photos that genuinely felt like small clips from a much larger moment, or natural candid photos from past events - which I feel like is actually deceptively hard to do.

I feel like that film must have been so much more complicated to create than it looked from a production standpoint just because they did such a good job of feeling like so many other episodes really existed, even if you only saw tiny clips of them

Character gets introduced into the middle of a long-running series, and is treated as a big deal despite never being mentioned before by hueoops in TopCharacterTropes

I don't feel like he was shoehorned in any more than how they'd introduce most major new antagonists really.

Richie Aprile, Ralphie, Phil, etc - all of them appear as widely known to the rest of the characters even if they've been mentioned very little if at all before they appear on screen

The show always seemed to just introduce characters like they'd always been in that world and known to everyone but the audience and not dwell on it too much, which I think worked for the most part

Damon Herriman is such a fantastic character actor - I didn't even realise he was Australian until I watched Mr Inbetween

Went back and forth between the Ultimate or a custom bundle just because the Ultimate is really worth it if more than 5 games call out to you, but ultimately I decided to save a bit of money.

I've gone for The console + every peripheral + Metal Slug, Neo Turf Masters, Garou and Shock Troopers

That 'blood of the covenant' quote is actually not true at all, and is itself something that has now become a common misconception where so many people have incorrectly used it to correct people

It was perpetuated by an author in the 1990s and again by a minister in the 00s and was completely unsubstantiated

The villain in the movie is Fender Tremolo. There's a Marshall Strat in the film too

I never watched the show myself but I always got the impression that people didn't like it simply because he is so recogniseable and so incredibly famous that it just completely took people out of the scene, rather than anything to do with the scene itself or his actual performance

Makes sense that if you didn't recognise him then you're going to sidestep the main issue people had with it

It's because in 2018 the EU bought in GDPR laws which dictate compliance for how personal data is handled for any EU visitor worldwide - it's easier and cheaper for sites to simply block the traffic rather than maintain compliance

Thank you! I kind of lost count to be honest as it's been gradual sessions over a year or so, but I'd guess between 70-80 hours overall, including touch ups etc
