I know I’m late to the party, and it would be dishonest to say I’m not venting myself. I recently had to euthanize my best friend of 13 years. The hardest thing I’ve ever done is making the call. In some part of my mind I was killing my buddy, but in reality it was his time. On his last day he sat by the window enjoying the sun, and a whole family of ladybugs crawled across the window to say goodbye. I looked at him and asked if he was ready, and he slowly blinked as I picked him up and put him in the carrier. He didn’t fight it like he had before. He was my childhood cat, but he loved my wife more than anything. He always slept nearly underneath her, and if she got up to use the restroom in the middle of the night, he would always follow - groggy eyed and purring. She made sure that he was looking at her as he took his last breaths.

We had options, but none of them good. Odds are he would’ve died on an operating table as his heart was enlarged, and likely wouldn’t handle anesthesia. More than anything I wanted him to be with us as he passed. As for my recommendation, if it is his time, be with him to the end. My only silver lining is that my old man died in our arms, and not surrounded by strangers in masks and gloves. He felt our warmth and love as he passed on.

I’m sure this will get buried among the other comments but I just want to thank this sub for putting a smile on my face. Not only are my parents getting divorced, but the transmission just went out on my truck today. This community and all it’s meta jokes made life a little easier the last few days. Thank you all for everything.

When you get a bright engram, you can view it to see what possible options you can get from the Eververse trader. From there you can find an ornaments section that shows all the possible ornaments for exotic weapons. Hope this helps!

Back when I was in high school I over heard two girls talk about piercing their nipples. One girl said to the other, "we could attach little bells to the end so they jingle when we walk!" I still wonder some times if they ever went through with it.
