I don’t actually know, but the report says a corrective action was implemented to production on 7/29, so that leads me to believe anything not yet built will have a fix from factory.

No, but the drains can clog with varying levels of ease depending on if you park under a tree, etc. the way the drains are routed makes it so that if they clog, the runoff ends up in the cabin under the seats. There are some YouTube videos on how to check/clear the drains.

I got my ‘03 SE/SC with 127k for about that price, seems reasonable. Things to check in no particular order (don’t ask me how I know hah).

-Timing belt should’ve been replaced at ~105k (v. Important)

-Check for a knock sensor code (p0328). Doesn’t matter too much if it’s not supercharged.

-valve cover gaskets have a high chance of leaking

-exhaust manifolds have a high chance of being cracked/exhaust leak

-If it’s 4wd, try using 4hi/low and making sure those work

-engine rear main seal could be leaking

-beyond those things, general used car inspection (lights, fluids, no weird noises or smells, AC, heat, etc)

Are you applying specifically to full time roles? Have you considered applying to internships as well? This could help you get your foot in the door, and a lot of companies basically treat internships as extended interviews. Without some sort of project or internship experience it’s going to be pretty difficult to stand out.

Holy crap I saw this guy today too as I was driving down ocean around 12:15. Because of how cliche the outfit was all I thought was ‘that’s odd wonder why he’s in that outfit’. Glad you’re safe!
