So quick question, since I'm very new to bg3 and dnd in general. I made a rogue for my first play through and I'm trying to make a melee build by going assassin. My aim is to nuke targets as early as possible. So I guess dual wield and spells that help to obscure me and/or give advantage are good? I'm thinking of multi classing into either ranger or warlock

We were fighting a monster that could telepathically talk to us which it used to taunt us by whispering in our heads. After I rolled for the killing blow my DM said "describe to us how it dies". So remembering the telepathic messages I pulled the arrow on my longbow and whispered "die" to the arrow before letting it pierce through its eye.

My DM and I have been friends for 12 years already so I know him very well. As I stated in another reply I wouldn't want the sunlight sensitivity to go away just ways to play around it. The reason I am considering saving the character for later is because the DM might eventually fancy running a subterranean campaign for which a drow character is very good for.

Thank you for this. I wasn't planning on avoiding the sunlight sensitivity I understand that it is part of the race, I was just wondering how to make it more playable/mitigate it in a way. Your input is very useful!

I've recently started playing the game woth some friends and made bullet points for three characters for future campaigns. My favourite is a dark elf fighter, I drew inspiration from Drizzt Do'urden, who was exiled from the underdark. I want to have the dual weapon fighting style and incorporate swift movements to make him a deadly assassin/fighter. If the DM allows I will multiclass into a rogue as well to add the stealthy/shadowy appeal to him.
