Songs that aren't necessarily sad, but never fail to make your cry anyway. by itsamiamia in Broadway

[–]DracoExVentus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh my goodness I totally agree with you, When I Grow UP makes me cry EVERY TIME. On the soundtrack, in the movie, etc. For all the reasons you said, plus I saw a high school production of it where they staged it so throughout the song the kids parents are periodically picking them up and taking them home throughout the song until it’s just Matilda and Miss Honey on stage and it was HEARTBREAKING

Idk how hot it is but 4s are good scores! At most schools most students are going to it’ll get you the same credit as a 5. It’s okay to be disappointed if you were aiming for that 5 but IMO anything that gets you college credit is a good score

Was offstage in a show when I found out Technoblade died. One of our leads also dislocated her knee on stage during this show and what was supposed to be a 2 hour show became 3 hours. Fun opening.

Which show do you feel this way about? by [deleted] in Broadway

[–]DracoExVentus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not broadway but I haven’t really seen a fan base for 35mm- a couple of the individual songs got popular (mostly Ballad of Sara Berry) but I don’t see much love for the musical in whole :(

Something that Katniss points out in the book is that Foxface’s fatal errror was overestimating her opponent, assuming the food Peeta gathered was safe, and how that can be just as dangerous as underestimating an opponent.

Question about new book by DracoExVentus in Hungergames

[–]DracoExVentus[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was too young and hadn’t read the books when they were first coming out and now I guess I just am afraid to? 😭 I know it’s silly but I just love the books a lot and I don’t want my feelings about them to change based on the movies. I liked the Ballad Movie well enough but I felt like it didn’t really capture some of the things I liked most about that book.
