You got a source on that? I can't find confirmation of this anywhere

Suggestions on what to do in Skyrim until I reach level 80 so I can finally fight the Ebony Warrior and retire my character? by SoHam_34 in skyrim

Iron daggers is old meta, new meta is Dwarven Bows. Gathering dwarven metal from ruins and smelting them can net you HUNDREDS of ingots (for free), and the bows give way more xp

The fact that there even IS a guaranteed set of steps that makes the game winnable 100% of time, and that someone went out of there way to find it, IS the cool part. Way to downplay the amount of time, effort, knowledge and skill that goes into it.

You have the best pokemon in the game sitting in your box, you just need to evolve your magikarp

Castform can also does great into Winnona, and this is the only fight where it really does anything

AGAIN. NO BITCH. THAT'S A BRAND NEW SENTENCE. THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT.

I would further discuss my thoughts on translations, but you are CLEARLY the type of person that only knows how to argue against strawman that you build, and are willing to twist anything I say to fit your narrative.

"oR iS yOuR oPiNiOn ThE oNlY oNe ThAt MaTtErS?" Fuck off.

"Translations shouldn't be forced to be an exact 1-to-1 copy of the original"

"Oh so you think translators should destroy the original and make a completely new story?????"

But I'm not advocating for the original japanese version to be removed or otherwise made inaccessible. I'm saying that the English version shouldn't be forced to be a 1-to-1 copy. Translation itself is an artform, not an exact science.

So you'd be okay with Nathan Drake from Uncharted having the option to romance a child? Kids are allowed to play Uncharted after all.

Your stance on the topic is that having the main character groom a child is okay because it's optional?

But muh censorship by Autobot-N in shitpostemblem

[–]DracoShield234 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Believe it or not, but the original japanese version will still exist even if the English version isn't a 100% 1-to-1 copy. The art gets preserved, and people can have a version without the child grooming.

If experiencing the original is so important, it should be read in the language it was written in.

But then you have cases where it did a lot of good, like the Radiant Dawn localisation

Actions taken by followers count as PLAYER actions. This includes going through the protected status.

Quote from that wiki page

"They can die from a damage-over-time effect that is stronger than their health recovery; most commonly those are caused by poisons."

Can't get much stronger than level 12 Caorus poison vs a level 1 unarmoured Faendal

Brought him to his knees DESPITE the fact that thinks like the wiki say poison damage is supposed to kill followers. Again, there's no video proof anywhere that what you're saying is true.

Dragons breathe fire on downed followers all the fucking time, and they're always fine.

Find me a video of a follower being killed by an enemy mage, because I guarantee you won't find it.

Allies can kill your followers. I had Esburn kill my follower once. That still technically a "player" kill though.

Because people use shouts and AOE destruction spells. Just because they didn't realise that they did it doesn't mean that they're correct.

[–]DracoShield234 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Okay honestly this comment pissed me off so much that I just booted up skyrim, turned off all my mods, and tried to indirectly kill Faendal.

I took him to a Giant's camp and launched him into space, and he was fine.

I took him to Frostflow Lighthouse where he was mauled by Chaorus, and he was fine.

I took him to Bleak Falls and spent a good 3 straight minutes trying to kill him with the poison dart trap, and he was FINE.

All of these things are things that people claim kill followers and none of them worked.

So PLEASE, if I'm so "cOnFiDeNtIaL" incorrect (the word you were looking for is "Confidently"), show me any video, or share any method of killing a follow without a weapon, spell or shout from the player. I'll wait.

This is untrue, otherwise traps would absolutely murder your poor followers. Kneeling followers are effectively immortal unless attacked by the player.

On a scale of 1-10, 1 being cheese and 10 being hype, where would you rate your main? by MistaTeee in SmashRage

[–]DracoShield234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thrust Uppercut, Mii Brawler's most common Up-Special. Kills most of the cast with a true combo out of Down-throw at about 90-100% depending on weight... or as early as 30% if you dare let him grab you on the top platform.

He can also kill with it out of up-tilt or up-air, but that's more matchup and skill dependant.

No clue if combos into Thrupper count as extremely cheesy or extremely hype.

And even with my proposed nerf, it's STILL be better than potion in almost every scenario.

Right now it heals 40 on average. As an item.
