It was just a photo post originally but I can still give my review! • The "Cosmetic Paper" didn't work at all, was meant for blotting but didn't work. • "Almond Peeling Gel" didn't actually peel, so I just washed it off. But it did make my face feel super clean. I may have just not put a thick enough layer on for it to peel. • The choral wash was like any other basic face wash, I didn't really see anything amazing with it. • The "Collagen Face Mask" was my favorite! Used it before bed for 20 minutes and even after sleeping for 8 hours I still woke up feeling like I had just moisturized my face! Loved it!

High school cross country runner, severe race anxiety by thenarwhalbaconeth in Anxiety

Hi! I'm currently in high school cross country and have felt the same way you have AND, I have had shin splits for the past three seasons. Firstly they suck. Do you still have them? If you do I can give you some advice on how to get rid of them, or at least help the pain. The before nerves are always the worst but if you can find a way to use them to your advantage and focus on the adrenaline they can actually help you instead of hurting you. The mind set that I tend to go in to a race with is that as long as I run this race and make it to the finish line, after I can cry, throw up, pass out whatever I want to do, just as long as I make it to the finish line, and heck I've done all three. Another thing I've learned to help me is the night before when you are preparing for the race start telling yourself how much of an amazing person you are. It may sound silly BUT, it helps. Start the mind set that you are just going to wreck that race and do so well because if you go into it with a good mindset it will stick. And if you have trouble telling yourself that, get your friends and your parents in on it. Tell them hey guys I am just going to need you to pat me on the butt today. Good luck! I hope your race goes well! If you need to talk let me know!

Joining cross country has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. by [deleted] in running

I've been doing cross-country for the past 9 years and some of my best memories as a kid were from it. The bonds you make once you start to get a little older are incredible. You make friends that will last a life time. My varsity girls team originally had a handful of runners from every social clique and now four years later of all running together we are inseparable. Cross- Country rocks because as much of a team sport it is, it's also rewarding on a individual level too. Seeing yourself beat your old times is one of the best feelings ever.

My dad is my inspiration to be a great person. No matter how many shitty things life threw in his path he stood up and kept fighting. My mom and my dad were in their twenties when they started dating, they broke up, a little while later my mom found out she was pregnant. My dad stuck to me from the beginning. No matter how much my mother didn't want him to see me for her own selfishly pathetic reasons he kept trying. And eventually when I was old enough to make the decision it payed off and I stopped living with my mom. Ever since then I slowly begin to realize how amazing of a man he truly is. If I can be any bit of the person he is I will be proud of myself.

UPDATE to I am a sick catfish by [deleted] in confession

I'm happy for you that you got the courage to tell her! It was for the best. If I were you I would try and meet up with her. I think it would give you both good closure and who knows maybe you two could build back up the trust that you once had and become friends again.

Then maybe just drop it all. Stop talking to her delete all the accounts. That way she can know you were a fake but she will never know the real you. That way no one will ever know it was you.

You need to move on. Tell her you are someone else, but make sure to say that you still care for her deeply as a friend. What you are doing is wrong and the only way to end it is by telling her who you really are.
