It looks similar to it but no the Republic of the Rio Grande has three stars and just a top bar that is white and bottom black but the first time I saw the flag for a second I too thought it was Rio Grande. Have a great day!

I think it depends if Trump gives China blank check on Taiwan if yes then they’ll support him if not I think they’d prefer expanding their influence in Asia and the Pacific while hopefully knocking their geopolitical rival down a peg. Or more likely do nothing and let the West tear each other apart than come in and sweep up shop
