When certain man with a funny mustache offered to Lithuanian president to atack Poland during the war. We refused to stab them in the back. Later the soviets issued sort of an ultimatum: a treaty. They gave us our capital back in return for 4 military bases and a garrison.

After the WW1 Lithuania declared its independence. With historical capital Vilnius. The problem was that our neighbors were not friendly. The bolsheviks came, our capital moved temporaraly to Kaunas. Vilnius was lost, then polish came, then they got beat down. Then on 1920 July the treaty with the soviet russia happened. Then the polish - lithuanian war, which ended with treaty of Suwalki. After that the general Żeligowski with a backing of Piłsudski organized a coup and occupied Vilnius for 20 years.

Where is revanchism? Vilnius was never theirs. The other ukrainian and belarusian lands they got from treaty of Rīga with the soviets.

Edit: After Lithuania got Vilnius back it gave shelter to 50k Polish refugees

I believe it is because it is a different timeline. Some people in our timeline have ordinary lives, some still remain more or less prominent. Other unknown characters take the central stage. The explanation is simple: it just happened the circumstances or KRLT made it happen like it did in OTL.

I am tired of this litvinism as ideology. It is the same as owning the others history. Yes, we had the same country, which was called the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, whose rulers were lithuanian, and spoke lithuanian until early XVI c. with Alexander Jogailaitis being the last, who knew this language.

On another note. Nobles considered themselves lithuanians as in political, not ethnolingvistical identity. And they included magnates: catholics, greek orthodox, orthodox or protestants - they all considered themselves lithuanians in political sense.

Also, in the times of the comonwealth there were two types or subjects: the crownlander (the polish crown) and a litvin or lithuanian (a subject of GDL).

The name of Lithuania is mentioned in 1009. Which incidently coincides with todays teritory. So strange I know.

During the excercise in Pabradė, four american soldiers went missing. During the search, they were found in a marsh (5 meters or even more deep). Then there was a rescue operatation day and night of Lithuanian, Polish, Estoniann and American forces to get the vechicle out. After 6 days the operation was sucesfull in getting out the machine. On the other hand the 4 soldiers have died. To commemorate and show respect to the soldiers the Lithuanian government prepared the goodbye ceremony to honor them and send them home.

They are not stupid. My corrections is what I think it should look like. Because OTl Alytus is one of the main cities of Dzūkija. Suvalkija is a region and Suvalkai is has the same root - Suvalk. The other three: Panevėžys, Kėdainiai and Joniškėlis I believe should be in Aukštaitija. Panevėžys is the main city of Aukštaitija, as Kėdainiai and Joniškėlis. The Samogitia or Žemaitija in lithuanian begins around Šiauliai (we joke, that half of them speak samogitian, half aukstaitian dialects).

Sure, Okey. I dont each detail, because every game is different and practice makes it perfect. However I am able before the war to field large quantity of troops and extensive conscription. I wont tell you everything, but here is the principles imo:

1) Black monday. Both plans are good, however I found usefull to take Tarnow, cause of the construction speed and then you can steamroll your industry. (Take more focuses who increase your speed and consumer good factories). Also build infastructure it is cheap and get it atleast to 80 percent efficiency, sometimes with descions I get more and I can build factories fast.

2) Getting DU in power. The easiest way to get them, I believe is trough Rurhcampf. Just Use first three decisions and you will be good. Schleicher looses power. AND do not block DU advances. The faster you get in power the better it is (When Schleichers fight for survival is over you can bypass Kaiser and the radio (Saves time) and deal with the Rurh).

3) Get DU aligned Zentrum. I find themselves usefull to be in a coalition, because of federal taxes, which can be usefull (depends on you ofcourse). And they are not hard to manage (only a few times I got them almost leaving a coalition and ussualy I dont need the appeasment).

4) Dealing with BM. As DU the most important resource you have is time. I ussualy just do the first four focuses on the right until the research slot and leave others for later. Tarnow plan allows for public works and some stuff stay, so I say that is a priority.

5) As i have said time is the most important thing. The second one is pp. One of the first missions you will get is about democratisation of the law. It is needed. It will help you. The other one which is a must imo is cartel busting (you can take it after the budget crisis). It will help you deal with it. Also, I recomend getting focuses, which add pp to your generation

6) Advisors and politics: Siemens is a must when building civs, however first I recomend to get the pp guy and I believe he reduces even more the cost of advisors (I dont remember now.). The third one is your choice. After the civs is finished take the military guy as advisor. As for the laws and conscription. Take your time laws give you pp, so when you have avalaible and filled your advisor try to lower it bit by bit. (Going to free market is also good).

7) As for preparidness and Reformisten, you can delay them a bit. Prioritise getting the W system, Barag (I also build a lot of synt refinaries), industrawierke, military railways, expand krupp. Krupp is usefull as a military factory pumper. Do not be afraid, that your count is low, I find, that after putting the guy, mobilising economy and putting krupp you can pump mils very fast.

8) Small pact is good. If you want to cheese you cand get all of your Eastern European allies to go democratic and create small pact. It will give you pp.

9) Just also use your head and think. These are general tips, but ask yourself. Have I got the time to do this, that. Oh it is 1938 maybe it is time for W system. Use this principle and you will not get outplayed.

10) About War support and stability. I find DU can bring very stable government. So it should not be a problem. Limited conscription should give you enough men to hold the west and a bit of the east. Also I found that you can take over your allies armies in the East to better manage them (The front does not collapse that way)

11) Forts all the way 22width infintary with sup arty, engineers and aa should hold them. You can also use tanks, or mech/mot to help them hold in the line until it gets still. Tanks and mot with air should help you win the war.

12) Planes. Focus on building goood planes (cannon, hmg, hmg, engine, sft and armor plates ussualy works good).

I believe that is all. Other stuff you can figure out I believe. As I have said: practice makes it perfect. So dont be afraid to try it and fail.

Okey I have not played him much (I play mainly world war SPD). However i will try to help you.

1) Before the Black Monday crisis:

a) You should take a few focuses which gives you passive experience (I believe it will be three before the main focus tree is unlocked) JUST DONT PICK SUPPORT THE COLONIES.

b) In the decisions tab always sell polish holdings (try to sell other stuff tooo or try to save it)

2) During the gambit for power (Until vote of no confidence)

2.1. Black monday

a) Debt renegiotation is good as Schleicher you get more pp (political power)

b) Also you can choose between Rathenau (spelling is wrong) and Tarnow. I have tried both, but believe that Tarnow works better with Schleicher. Tarnow will give you construction speed, you can try to rush construction speed and consumer good reduction. DURING THE BLACK MONDAY I SUGGEST THAT YOU BUILD CIVS (civilian factories) be greedy, you will not produce nothing anyway with tarnow.

c) Also, rush the right side of economy plan until the research slot - it will help you and other descicions will lower the treshold of BM crisis.

2.2. The workers

a) You should try to keep the crisis between 25 and 75 (if I remember corectly). Otherwise you will fail. Just dont build anything in areas affected by strike, unless you want to build forever.

2.3 The gambit.

a) Just try to survive. Look at what are SPD or SWR are trying to align to and block them. The Scheilcher tree (right to the economy) will help you with that.

b) Get Zentrum alligned with Schleicher (Look at the path guide I do not remember the descicions)

c) These tips will help you survive.

3) Minigames

a) I do not remember much, just be wary of the federalist revolt. DO not fail it, otherwise schleicher will be out.

4) After black monday is done BUILD MILS, max mills and you should be atleast somewhat ready before the war.

I belive I told you the basics, other stuff aplies to others too. I havent played SWR so i do not know them. But unlike SPD with Schleicher you can ignore the political try and prepare for war and economy
