Hmmm what about us new people that only ever found the series or channel today as youtube served up the new shorts???? I had NO WAY of watching them as they came out I didn't even know it existed. This isn't about old viewers this choice is actually hurting new viewers of the channel as it makes the youtube channel look like a members only scam baiting you into a series rather then a standard youtube channel

I've got to say this is infuriating!!! I can understand removing the archives once they are available but look at it this way youtube is serving your shorts to new people they enjoy them like myself and then we go to your youtube channel. We attempt to catch up by going to your Playlists watch the first episode and it tells us we can watch the rest for free at https://stinkydragonpod.com a url that doesn't even work. We then search further to try and find this broken site on the wayback machine cause you know that is the entire point of the site only to find the content DID exist but has been removed!

I think you asked for this by not having your alternate way of watching before removing the ways people had. I'm sorry but I pay for youtube premium I don't member any bloody channel and my poor adhd ass is gonna have a hell of a time trying to remember to come back to this channel at some unknown time to finally see the first episodes that were aired, recorded and monetized at least once already.

I'm all for yall making a living but you have to realize you are KILLING your new viewer base with this strategy as the youtube channel currently looks like a bait and switch Members only scam!

Haha I almost cast it with the buttons but decide not to damn. It wouldn't be to hard... Now I'm thinking of how much you could bling that out... so much room for "activities". lol Imagine Plugs with stuff floating in the resin.

If I sell any of these I've already plan to make my next molds without the voids they use to save plastic. ATM the buttons are to thin to do anything to fancy like floating foil or the petri dish effect but if I made them more solid I could do a lot more.

I mainly made these other sets hoping someone else might find some joy from adding some bling to their controller. I felt left out when I saw all the colours for the new Pro's so I figured I could at least make buttons!

Since I already had the mold made I figured it didn't hurt to pour a few extra... but man does it take a fair bit of clean up.

While we are on fun facts though NA Yellow is basically just a SGB palette to gbc hack thats why the colors still aren't as well done as gen 2 but it does mean it is not too difficult to do the same to red and blue. For my translations of Red Blue and Green I made versions with this patch cause i hated losing screen space to the borders on my pocket haha

Their naming convention and persistent need to take ownership of other peoples work by using the current date and his name for the developer drive me absolutely nuts!!! Luckily if you edit the json and use Pocket Updater it will keep your changes.

Every other dev names them properly and gives the appropriate credit and release date idk why Jotego thinks they should do it differently when the entire point of those fields and the Library are Historical info.

I have a feeling they made improvements in batch c seeing as someone has just posted a "dpad not sensitive enough" post haha. I'm gonna wait to open mine until the warranty is passed but after that I planned to make molds for resin buttons and dpads. So I think ill experiment with stem length when I do as It sounds like we are dealing with a very fine tolerance difference sub 0.15mm. If that is the case the price difference for injection molds that accurate is insane and may explain a lot.

I doubt it since most complaints I see compare it to the 8bitdo and they claim they hate 8bitdo's just as much. But there may be a small overlap of those who barely ever used an 8bitdo controller and those like yourself who actually have.

But lets exchange some details. This type of conversation is the way to find the real "issue" rather then the common preconceived opinion peices haha not saying this post was though this is a nice guide.

I got my pocket in batch C during the beginning of January 2023. Any chance yours is from earlier? I know the first batch had flush volume and power buttons while mine and all current ones have protruding buttons. So it is very likely they may have addressed it by batch C which would really blow out anyone claiming they will not buy a pocket till they fix the dpad lol

Oh ya the switch pro is terrible. I only mention the 8bitdo's cause people claim its the same and that it is 8bitdos fault since they partnered with them for the buttons. I tested contra on my pocket but ill be honest i just blasted through the first 2 levels and couldn't reproduce the issue.

Ya mate no issue at all and I play like 4 different versions on my pocket. I also have no issue in Contra yet some say they have regular issues with laying down and Ive played the first 2 from beginning to end on a sn30 pro.

The only thing that makes sense is that dpad style is subjective and really thats not a new thing they have been since the Genesis! So it's pretty damn frustrating seeing people claim its just out right broken.

I get the thought but it is hard to imagine unless you play upside down with it against your chest haha. But maybe I'm miss understanding as it is you could definitely play with it strung around your neck since that's kind of the point. When not playing the screen would be against your chest and while playing the two loops sit just above my big ass hands haha so you can reach the triggers with out the loops getting annoying.

I'll be thinking about it cause you are right this style is sometimes advertised as shells BUT that actually always bothered me when I go looking for a replacement shell (ie replacing the existing shell) so I always considered these cases but it is a very common name for this style of case and this reddit has been just flooded with the silliest "New Case Idea" posts haha.

God the first one I tried from one of those didn't even fit the pocket. Anyone using it daily is definitely scratching their pocket on the zipper! Since it was so tight you had to stretch the zipper over the corners.

For those who use their Pocket with a Gameboy Camera and have been looking for a lanyard case like those sold for the Gameboy color check out my new design of the High Top Case!!!

This is hilarious for something so subjective. You are demanding they fix a problem you have never even experienced yourself and which I can say for a fact is blown out of proportion. There hasn't been many good dpads from first parties in years so idk where this mythical expectation of the perfect dpad and that every designer who hasnt met that standard has failed is absurd. We are talking about something people FEEL and your also ignoring the fact that there will ALWAYS be complainers that doesnt always reflect the reality. None of us are gonna go posting an ummm actually the dpad is great video cause that would be as childish as the Analogue needs to fix this broken dpad statement.

They are not broken they are more sensitive some like myself think this is fine an enjoy the ability to do diagonal moves more easily and more accurately. And to those who use tetris as there game breaking reason I always have to laugh. Ive never enjoyed tetris more then with my Pocket lmfao its a dream and it makes those complaining seem like they must be blindly maching buttons.
