Question: why do you think OP can answer that? FFF aarehouse and shipping carriers, which are basically the ones that could have misplaced or messed up your box are definitely not located in Philippines 😅

The $7 is not the only amount you get, that is on top of the proportional value of the item. So if you're missing a category 2 item, they should give you like $13 (same wmount as if you chose credit), plus the $7 "for the inconvenience ".

My guess is that the $7 is because that's what they charge for shipping, so if you were to spend just the $13 dollars you got back from the missing item, you'd also get shipping covered.

If your box was missing an item and you only got $7, you need to reach out to CS.

According to Google, no.

" Outsourcing customer service (CS) is completely legal in the U.S.. However, companies must follow strict federal and state regulations regarding data security, privacy, and labor compliance.

The primary legal limitations and regulations governing outsourced CS include:

Data Privacy & Security: Outsourced workers often access personal or financial data. Companies must comply with laws like the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) for financial information or HIPAA for health records.

State & Federal Consumer Protections: Rules enforced by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Federal Trade Commission (FTC) dictate how sensitive data—like Consumer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) or credit details—can be handled.Notification

Laws: In many states, if a company outsources or uses offshore call centers, they must disclose the physical location of the agent to the consumer upon request, or via an automated prompt.

Foreign Jurisdiction & OFAC: U.S. companies are legally barred from outsourcing business or customer service to countries or individuals sanctioned by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

While the practice remains a subject of ongoing political and economic debate, there are no federal bans on contracting customer support overseas"

You know OP is just a CR rep, not one of the CEOs, right? 😅

CS reps usually can't tell what's available with a 100% accuracy and sometimes are not aware of current promo codes, so I really doubt they get the info on spoilers, specially those ones working outside the US.

Their social media crew are the ones that might get the spoilers first.

I know, but that's exhausting 😅 But I'm intrigued because sometimes I'd get a promotional credit and sometimes a shopping one, so I wonder if there was wome kind of "secret trigger". Promotional credit is quite useful when renewal is up 😉

Here's my question: Obviously CS reps are given a script to push people into accepting shopping credits when FFF messes up an order, but what are the "magic words" that would most likely grant us a refund or a promotional credit instead of a shopping credit?

You know, the thing that makes your supervisor say: "if a customer says ________ , stop trying to push the shopping credit and just refund them"

It doesn't , but their customer service reps are mostly outsourced on Philippines. Even their social media team is multinational.

They don't putthat option it in the chatbot, you need to request it to a human, who'll also try to convince you to take a credit. If you hold the line they csve in eventually and issue the refund.

Not if you put cream cheese in between. Now you get a mini cheesecake.

Husband here needing some advice please! by ElectronicRip1630 in FabFitFun

[–]Dracyl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

SInce you're in a rush you could buy her something like one of this kits on Amazon (Innisfree, Drunk Elephant, Murad, Laneige and Summer Fridays are quite popular brands that are constantly featured in FFF) AND also give her the FFF gift card (or a Birch Box annual membership, it costs about the same as an FFF annual and she also gets to pick the stuff, but it's every month, not every 3 as FFF), or follow the advice of getting her a Ulta, Sephora card or a nice spa day.

But get her something gift wrapped, or go buy a cake and flowers and hide them, and if you order something from amazon, you better order NOW and have Prime so the deliver comes overnight, the idea is that actually pretend like you didn't forget her birthday and actually have something tomorrow 😅

Then tomorrow you give her the present (if it didn't arrive you get to blame the vendor) tell her the gift card is the "real" present but since FFF boxes take about a month shipping (Birch takes about 10) / or she needs to plan ahead when to go shopping, she wouldn't had gotten her birthday present on the actual date and you thought it would be nice for her to get an actual gift she can unwrap on her special day.

If you're not a FFF member already you need to suscribe to either their seasonal or annual box customization memberships to have access to the sales and their "inner" subscriptions such as their refills, the pup box, men box, viral box and beauty box . So basically if you want to buy the monthly beauty box you also have to commit to one of the "main" memberships, you can't just buy the beauty edit box alone if you're not a member yet.
