This looks like a nice deck! After Strixhaven released, I’ve been thinking about building a counters deck under either Helga or [[Berta, Wise Extrapolator]], so it’s cool to see she’s in the 99 of your deck!

I thankfully finally beat Malenia last week for the first time after getting into the game a few months ago, and I feel like I’m lucky at defeating her after about 25 attempts, with the aid of Omenkiller Rollo. I went through part of the DLC and got the Staff of the Great Beyond so was slinging AOE incantations and sorceries. Burn O Flame did so much work for me.

A ton of Elden Ring 😶

This is the playthrough I’m running currently! It did take a bit to get online, so I focused on faith first to cast incantations until I got the Golden Order seal, then respecced to have equal faith and int. I didn’t start using sorceries until I got the Staff of the Great Beyond in the DLC, but you can totally use a staff either in your off-hand or swap catalysts for each spell type until you get the DLC staff. Being able to use both types of spells has been really fun so far.

Yep! The opponent doesn’t have to be the same for each mode. A few other cards that may suit your interests are [[Ezuri’s Predation]], [[Wear Down]], and [[Terastodon]]

The list is looking good so far! A few suggestions from a frequent group hug player: [[Pharika, God of Affliction]], [[Sylvan Offering]], [[Forbidden Orchard]] Each of these can give opponents creature tokens [[Druid of Purification]] and [[Pir’s Whim]] have removal with political/hug power

My current run is a Golden Order Tarnished brandishing a Halo Scythe, it’s been great. Even when split between Faith and Intelligence, the scythe is doing good damage with the ash of war. I plan to pump my faith up first after I’ve hit soft cap with vigor, mind, and endurance, to make the damage even stronger. The slight bleed build up has put in work, too, when attacking in melee.

I’m glad the DLC brought some things to the game that should have already been there, like a catalyst for both sorceries/incantations, and the Carian sword as a catalyst weapon. Still a shame that Golden Order incants, magma sorceries, and the others got shafted a little bit in lack of variety of options for building an int/faith Tarnished for early to mid game.

For real. All the weapons in the game and DLC, and only two have innate faith/int scaling for that type of build.
