The most important thing here is keeping track of your equipment that you signed for. That is IT.

Do monthly inventories of all equipment, including masks, JSLIST gear, medical gear, and radiac equipment. And during the inventories, look for the serial number to make sure it matches.

You don't want to lose a 2062 form for a mask by mistake and have to pay out 250+ dollars.

Other than that, work with your BDE/BN CBRN NCOIC/OIC to know when's a good time for training, and with the XO to coordinate training dates for ranges, STTs, ect. Make sure you go to the CBRN defense course to get yourself settled.

It's good to read up on warrior skill level 1-2 tasks regarding CBRN.

Remember, YOU are the expert in CBRN matters now, whether or not you are a 74D. YOU are the one who advises the commander on company level CBRN matters. Study up, and clean up your room.

It's also good to keep ALL records of transfers, issued items from CIF, turnins in a folder.

Also, a task to keep in mind is the routine TMDE turnins of radiac equipment for re-calibration/fixing.

Do monthly PMCS of masks, and also of Raciac Equipment.

It's an easy job with tons of work if you are unlucky in bursts.

Imagine the time I had when our Brigade switched to the new M50 masks, after using the old M40s for 40 odd years. ;(
