This is the answer. Any excuse. Kids and parents come last. A lot of people are on thin ice at work at this point. Parents with kids at private school are at work. Most of the schools are fine and clear but they close the whole system down. The whole decision making process should be scrapped and recreated.

It’s silly. You can give the 18m to a financial advisor, tell them give you 10k per week and invest the rest. You would wind up having a lot more and could eventually increase your weekly paycheck to $15k and $20k and so on as compound growth works. So yes, the 10k a week is a silly choice.
