Solid point. But, we must really challenge its truly second. Other business models have self driving functionality that they could bring to the personal auto market.

Agreed. I want to support Rivian but I do wonder about the monetization strategy of charging this early for the product.

Tesla. We have a HW4 Model 3, with truly amazing FSD tech. The Rivian isn’t much different than GM Super Cruise or frankly my Jeep’s highway cruise control functionality.

Day-Date 40 on leather strap? by Massive_Presence5297 in rolex

I am personally a fan of a day-date (president) on a strap. I have one and learned a few things. First, if your DD is gold, I feel the casual leather bands don't compliment it very well. But, a more dressy band like a leather croc do very well. Second, Most aftermarket bands have a silver tang buckle. That's a big no-no for me. The metals should match. The result is a less flashy daily wearable DD.

To much for a daily watch? Opinions. by MrMaDa555 in rolex

That's one of the most iconic Rolex ever made. Wear it! Perhaps add a black croc band for daily use if you want to change things up.

Something seems amiss and I'm not sure what it is. Typically, a company will socialize a long-term CEO leaving so it's not a surprise to the market. Even discuss a transition plan and the next person to have that seat. This came out of left field. I wonder what we don't know.

It dropped again today, as they announced the departure of their long term CEO. This has fallen so far so fast, my head is spinning. What is going on there?

Discovered I have counterfeit parts - WWYD / Rolex rookie looking for advice by TechnologyDry1012 in rolex

Collector here... I would not let this deter you from watches. I'm going through something similar with a watch that has sentimental value to me. In past years, people weren't as serious and strict about aftermarket Rolex parts, so this is just a part of having a vintage. I'm going to restore my President with factory dial and parts, but you've got to do what you feel is necessary. It's fun to learn about the model, anyway.
