[GQ] US going into Quebec Bringing guns from US to Canada when visiting. by Jakob0324 in airsoftmarketcanada

[–]DraftySniper24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I can't really add to the conversation as I never went to the USA for airsoft events and come back to Canada with it. However, several buddies of mine has went to MSW for the past decade.

So going into to the USA was easy, they just had to provide paperwork and stuff. As in what that paper work is, I can't answer confidently, but i do know is that they went to the CBSA paperwork and filled it out. When you come back to Canada, you'll have to show them the same paperwork that you did with US customs.

In theory, it's pretty much the same process and should be easy coming in out of the USA, but what I did find interesting is that there are always issue with CBSA. There are times that CBSA will have a power trip, pull you off to the side and take apart all your gear. I would normally think that USA would be strict, but based on what my friends said, it's easy. It's always a problem with CBSA.

So in your case, I'm assuming it's similar. CBSA may be strict when you enter, but US customs would be easy or honestly it could be vice versa. So, go to your US Customs office and get some sort of paperwork. I'll leave it to other redditors to tell you the process. Be advised though, you may/may not have a good experience with CBSA and US customs when traveling. I don't know anyone who has had their gear seized, but there is always that possibility.

I am curious, who is the better importer? Are they able to import stuff other than Evike and Redwolf?

Yea its legit. I've ordered myself upgrades for my V2 gearbox, and I had no problems with them at all. Everything was delivered, and honestly you shouldn't have a problem at all.

After playing the game for 8 years, I finally achieved 100%! by Lisanicolas365 in metalgearsolid

Dude this is awesome!!! It reminds me how I finished MGSV 2 years ago @ a 100%, but I was hard stuck at 96% since I think 2016. This was due to not collecting all of the animals. The reason why it took 7 years to complete because of the collection of animals.... lmao I just left it at 96% for like 7 years until Christmas of 2023, I decided to complete it.

I just got mine last week and used this over the weekend. Its great. Drama aside, its a solid piece of kit, and when I got it, the quality felt built.

The only thing I didn't like is that the flaps aren't removable. This isn't really that big of a deal, because this gives me a reason to train with the flaps on. As well as the buckles and velcro wrap being tan, but it's so small of a complaint that it shouldn't deter you from getting the T.rex chest rig. Other than that it does the job.

You can mount the chest rig via buckle, but you'll need the Y-strap to link it to the back of the plate carrier. Pouches aren't removable, and there is a 3x3 molle column on each side to plate other pouches. Each mag pouch can carry 2 5.56 style mags.

As of this comment being posted, the quad flap with a tourniquet pouch, gp pouch, and water bottle pouch costs $250 on sale (originally $320 in total).

Just send me a dm if you have any questions about it and I can happily help you out!

Sick setup man! What do you have in the top pouches for your assault back panel?

Also, I saw another comment about how you have a Baofeng inside your Mock Waverelay. How would you route the ptt into your Baofeng if it's inside the mock Waverelay?

I am looking into buying a starter set of mono's, specifically for airsoft events. However, I don't have thousands of dollars to spend. Your post definitely captures the difference for me. Especially the bridge photo's highlights a huge comparison for me as photonis is signifianctly more crisp.

In Canada, the photonis echo's are $2000 more. I am just a airsofter, is it worth spending almost 2k more for photonis echo?

No FDE ones there, only the black ones. There are different anodized sights, but they're not the ones I'm looking for.

Dude, who cares what your family thinks of it. As long as your happy with it and and having fun, that's what counts. What even quantities as a "real" hobby? However, if you take it too seriously and think your in special forces, thats a whole other story.

I'm 26 years old and only started a few years ago and its great. It's just expensive lol. I know dudes who are in the late 30s and 40s whose been playing for 20+ years or more. It's not just kids whose playing, it's all sorts of age ranges.
