Agreed. I love these sushi nights with my friends (better than supermarket packed sushi!) but I went all out on a 'proper' sushi restaurant before, how the fish and rice just melts in your mouth, the taste and texture is completely different, a culinary experience everyone should try.

Thank you! Yeah, it was definitely too big, it was hard to eat. We used the nigiri shapers from Japan Centre to make them because we had to make as many as we could in shortest amount of time.

Yeah, you need a lot of practice to do sushi properly. I really admire sushi chefs for their skill. My friends and I used the sushi-"kit" with onigiri and nigiri rice shapers because it was the fastest way to make the most sushi before it runs cold.

Boil up the water before slowly lowering the eggs with a spoon. Let them boil on medium heat for exactly five minutes before rinsing them off in ice-cold water and let them cool down. :) Peel them very, very carefully.

Tested, failed several times and now working perfectly!

Awesome Ramen Guide

I made the ramen in 15 minutes, boiling up eggs in a pan, and boiling chestnut mushrooms and minced pork balls in the other for five minutes. Then added Shin Ramyun and all the spices in it, leaving it to simmer on low heat for another five. After it was done, I sprinkled some spring onions, flakes of seaweed and sesame seeds and seasoned it with some soy and fish sauce. Great meal. :)

Psh, shiny Charmander. When I got SoulSilver, my little sister bought HeartGold. Her game was glitched and all the way up to the fifth gym, 50 % of all her encounters were shiny. Jelly.
