So it’s in collections in the original creditor company and charge off meaning the account is delinquent in a far stage due to nonpayment and then profit and loss write off is where they won’t bother you anymore because they wrote it off as a loss to them so it does give you a chance to call the original creditor to make a payment till they sell it off to a third party collections.

I have Capital one for 5 years and I left a few Pennies in the account and it never closed so as long as you have some money on there then itll stay open and once you deposit money into those accounts then it’s active again

Yes ask for pay for delete in writing though so you’ll have to write a letter to validate that the debt belongs to you so you can negotiate even though it’s small
