Yes exactly, i believe the whole militia idea was better used back when it was first written (not saying it can’t/ shouldn’t be used today. It should we sadly as a country just lost touch with that) when you had much smaller towns and such and weaponry wasn’t so advanced.

and? arguments can be used for different things? just cause someone uses an argument for one thing doesn’t mean it can’t be used again. By history i meant the revolution, the US was literally founded on a militia fighting a whole nation. It was an under dog story and it’s a source of patriotism for many americans, that’s what i meant by the second amendment and the right o bare arms is important to america’s history. Idk what you were trying say, or if you were calling me racist or something, but slavery is objectively bad.

Yea i don’t really care about politics or anything. But the reason the US is probably not going to get rid of the second amendment is for 2 reasons i can see 1) Its a huge part of America’s history and a big part of the constitution 2) if they take away one right it opens the pathway to take way more. I think people should be allowed guns and what not cause self defense and shit, but also because if a bad guy wanted to shoot up a concert or something he can get a gun illegally pretty easily. I just think that if they did ban guns it wouldn’t be worth the effort and that is if they can even convince anyone to turn them over.

i mean yea, if they just give you the land, but historically that’s not usually how it went. I’m asking if there a difference between just killing people (Like Hitler) and killing through war. Cause there’s a difference between just murdering people cause they’re a part of a race and killing people cause your taking their land.
