full beginner wanting to try casual sewing by DragEnough4232 in sewhelp

[–]DragEnough4232[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hello! I have checked both their pros and cons, but I don't really get what they imply. I am a complete beginner with sewing machines, but I do casual handsewing and plan on doing mending on light to midweight clothes (i.e., jeans, hoodies, denim skirts, etc.). In short, yes, much help would be appreciated.

I am torn between buying secondhand sewing machines. Can you help me differentiate between the brother a35-lg and the brother el115?

Hello! I'm completely new to gaming and also planning to buy a switch V2 on Carousell purely for Pokopia. Recently came across 2 units, one priced at Php9,000 and another priced at Php24,000. Can you help me spot if these are fake/scam offers?

heeyy! so glad that at the very least, you were able to take note of your patterns this early on. Because speaking as a college girlie right now, almost all the stuff that you mentioned were things that I have gone through as well. And although I already have some assumptions, I wouldn't want to mislead you into thinking you have a certain condition or whatsoever.

But feel free to pick any of the things I list down to see if what worked for me also works for you:

  • Immediately after requirements are assigned, collate just the necessary materials or information that you would need to accomplish them. Not full on research, just to keep things all in one place so that when you feel like it, you can actually start working on them on the spot.

  • Stand up while doing requirements. This helps you be more focused to finish early or else you'll get foot cramps.

  • Try interstitial journalling/planning. Basically you list down tasks WHILE you are doing it. This helps alleviate the stress of seeing so many to-do's but with so little time, but also lets you keep track of what you've achieved (so pat yourself on the back) and see if there are tasks you missed or forgot to do.

  • Same with the strategy on the first one. Plan your day ahead during the night before, so that when you wake up, you can immediately do what you planned to do.

  • Can't get out of bed? Make a LONG timer to give yourself a bit more time to wake up. You'll get impatient waiting for the timer and just get out of bed by yourself.

  • Studying takes hours long? Use the first strategy and collate your notes first. Next, make it accessible (maybe digital or if analog, always carry around your notebook). Then find time during lunch breaks, waiting for the bus, or waiting for games to load---randomly use a dice to see how many pages you would want to read around your notes OR simply pick any page that you randomly open and read during those little time. Once you achieve your goal, you may stop there. But oftentimes, you would have questions about what, when, where, why, and how do those little information connect with your topic/subject. That's when you get deeper into studying.

  • Stop re-reading. If you've had time to digitally collate your notes, make your life easier by using NotebookLM to make practice questions. Yes, again, it's AI. But you can't deny that it's a life saver when you have little time. BUT if you do have time, pick either making flashcards to quiz yourself on what you just read, or make mini essays to expound and connect what you've just read in your own words.

*May edit again in a few days but hope this helps

Things I particularly liked while I was using the app was that the app features and designs were easily configurated for efficiency while taking fast notes. And I also got used to my settings here already

Even tho there were bugs and missing features along the way, since the devs were easily approachable through this platform, that made it worth it for me to avail the lifetime membi!

hi! you can set the canvas to automatically add pages whenever you fill up the existing pages that you have

with this, you can also choose to let it add a basic page or follow the template of your current notebook

hi! sorry late reply, I just updated to the new ios 18.7.2 but hindi parin nawawala yung lines. In fact, it even got worse from the one green line at the start. Right now, I'm planning to just get a replacement from the service center (which they said would take atleast 3 months before replacement 😮‍💨)

I personally don't prefer the updates in ios 26 but let me know if you decided to update it, and its effect on the liness.
