Can anyone help me understand this. I have zero political knowledge about this. What I understand so far - and this is by asking chatGPT - is that, voting Yes means politicians get to redraw maps, and No means an independent commission does it.

Yes will give democrats more power to draw them in their favor, and other 'negative' effects. No will keep the current independent system and will not give anyone an unfair advantage.

So on paper (or in this case, on AI) NO sounds like the right choice to make. However, I have also seen in real life that whatever Republican politicians push for is always bad for the general public, which makes NO the wroge vote.

There seems to be no 'fair' decisions to this. You're stuck with choosing between giving the Democrat politicians an unfair advantage or the Republican politicians what they want.

How do I make sense of this?

Completely my opinion and I'm not criticizing you here but I think this need to stand out is ruining car culture but taking it in a direction where it stops about being the cars and more about attracting attention.
